Trump has this wild surprise waiting for him at the White House

Donald Trump believes he has the 2024 election in the bag. But he has a rude awakening in store.

Because Trump has this absolutely wild surprise waiting for him at the White House.

There’s definitely a ton of similarities between Donald Trump’s first campaign for office in 2016 and his campaign for re-election now in 2024. He’s still a commanding force within the Republican Party (even more so now that he’s a former president with years of experience under his belt). He’s still a political outsider that wants to shake up the Washington, D.C. political class that has become far too comfortable with playing games with the lives of the American public for political agendas. He’s Donald Trump, you either like him or you don’t.

2024 is dissimilar to 2016 in plenty of other ways, no doubt. Joe Biden is no Hillary Clinton, even if his job approval numbers simply aren’t what he’d remotely like them to be. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, is one of the most distrusted politicians in modern American history. These two opponents of Trump’s couldn’t be anymore different in a number of ways.

But as mentioned, there’s a reason the political establishment is utterly terrified of a second Trump term in office. He’s bound to make changes that are going to be very unpopular with the bureaucratic suits in the Washington, D.C. Swamp who want someone in the White House who will just play along. In fact, plenty of Trump’s supporters believe that, in 2020, the political establishment didn’t rest on their laurels like they did in 2016 with Hillary Clinton.
So should Donald Trump win re-election to the Oval Office come November over Joe Biden, there’s no doubt that there’s going to be plenty of rusted on federal government officials bracing for impact and trying to figure out how they can be a thorn in the side of Donald Trump. They’ll believe it’s their duty to combat the “evil orange man” as much as possible, because he’s a threat to their very career and existence.

In fact, Donald Trump called this behavior out during his first term. He noted how the intel agencies were trying to undermine him at every step, no matter what. Just last month, Politico ran a report noting how major intel agencies like the NSA and the CIA are seriously worried sick about what Trump may do to them with more time in the White House. A vengeance tour isn’t foreign to American politics.

One surprise that’s waiting for Trump though is particularly dangerous and could be a major problem for a second Trump term in the White House. It’s one he likely hasn’t even thought about, and never would’ve guessed is coming.
