NBC, CNN, and the like are known for running cover for Democrats constantly. That relationship may be on the rocks.
Because CNN broke ranks and absolutely demolished this top Democrat.
Several “Squad” members were outraged when CNN analyst Scott Jennings referred to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) as a “public relations agent for Hamas” during a recent panel discussion.
Jennings participated in a talk moderated by CNN’s Abby Phillip, and he responded to Omar’s commitment to vote to re-elect President Joe Biden in 2024, despite whatever reservations she may have about his administration’s sustained support for Israel in the war against the terrorist group Hamas.

Phillip started by asking Scott if he was surprised to hear Omar declare she would vote for Biden, adding, “And some of her colleagues, I’m pretty sure, wouldn’t say that today.”
“No, she’s a Democrat. They’re gonna vote for Biden. I’m not surprised about that,” Jennings replied.
“I am surprised that, in the year of our Lord, 2024, there is a public relations agent for Hamas sitting in the United States Congress.”
Jennings went on to say that Omar and many others had called for a quick ceasefire but had made no mention of the fact that Hamas was still holding hostages kidnapped from Israel during the October 7 terror assaults, which killed over 1,200 people.
“The reason Israel is not at that meeting is because Hamas will not provide a list of the living hostages. I didn’t hear a word – a word of concern for the hostages. Ceasefires – she said – don’t happen magically,” Jennings continued.
“Well, you know there was a ceasefire in place on October the 6th. And who broke it on October the 7th? I cannot believe honestly what I heard out of that interview. What I want are for those hostages to come home. I want somebody – somebody out there to show just a little bit of remorse that Hamas broke the ceasefire, r*ped, and murdered horrifically women all kinds of people. That – that’s it. How about a little bit of concern for those folks? That’s what I’m looking for.”
Members of the far-left “Squad” were eager to defend Omar, criticizing Jennings and CNN for allowing his statements to go uncontested.
“Scott Jennings’ comments are reminiscent of the anti-Muslim bigotry we saw in the George Bush post-9/11 era. It is disgusting and must not be normalized. CNN should denounce this hateful, dangerous and blatant Islamophobia immediately,” Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) complained.

“How on earth is this kind of blatant Islamophobia so casually accepted without pushback? This is shocking,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) added.

Several others, including Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), answered as if reading from the same script.
