Congress passes bill 416-0 that’s given Kamala Harris a seizure

Kamala Harris wants all of the attention right now. But there’s one small problem with that.

As Congress just passed a bill unanimously that has given Kamala Harris a seizure.

Kamala Harris is basking in the sun with Democrats throwing their flowers at her more than any politician in recent memory. The way the Democrat base has so swiftly made her the queen of their Party is truly shocking. No one with power in the Democrat Party was allowed to question it without fear of being labeled a usurper and a racist and a s*xist.

Vice President Harris wants to keep this coronation song going however long she can as well. There’s a real sociopathy to her that’s palpable in this moment. You can tell she’s truly getting pleasure in watching herself become the de facto leader of the Democrats and potentially the next President of the United States. It’s enough to make one sick, to be honest.

Her only problem is that her opponent also had something truly extraordinary happen to him that Americans aren’t going to be so quick to forget. That is, of course, when President Donald Trump survived a shocking assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. She may have stolen the front news pages for a little while, but this tragedy is still on the minds of millions of Americans.

As such, Congress-members have been pressured by their constituencies to get to the bottom of what happened that day. Already, the Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has resigned, but there’s a lot more work to be done no doubt. Americans deserve answers. Now Congress has, shockingly, decided to unanimously link arms across the political divide and try to give Americans answers.

House Forms Bipartisan Task Force to Investigate Assassination Attempt on Former President Trump

In a decisive move on Wednesday, the House passed a resolution to establish a bipartisan task force to investigate the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, which occurred on July 13. The resolution, H.R. 1367, was driven by House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and garnered unanimous support in the House.

The resolution follows the controversial testimony of U.S. Secret Service (USSS) Director Kimberly Cheatle before the House Oversight Committee on Monday, which led to widespread bipartisan discontent and her subsequent resignation on Tuesday.

“The security failures that allowed an assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life are shocking,” Johnson and Jeffries stated in a joint announcement on Tuesday. “The task force will be empowered with subpoena authority and will move quickly to find the facts, ensure accountability, and make certain such failures never happen again.”

The House’s 416-0 vote underscores the urgency and importance of this investigation. The task force will consist of seven Republicans and six Democrats, a composition reflecting the bipartisan demand for answers.

Key support for the resolution also came from Republican Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania, who was present at Trump’s rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots at the former president. The incident resulted in the tragic death of attendee Corey Comperatore and injuries to James Copenhaver and David Dutch, both of whom are now in stable condition.

Crooks, who targeted Trump from a rooftop 130 yards from the stage, was reportedly identified by witnesses and flagged by the USSS nearly an hour before Trump appeared.

In her resignation, Cheatle acknowledged the security breach, taking “full responsibility for the security lapse,” as noted in an email obtained by the Associated Press. Johnson remarked that Cheatle’s resignation was “overdue” and hinted that other officials might also share the blame.

“She should have done this at least a week ago,” Johnson commented during a press conference on Tuesday. “Now we have to pick up the pieces. We have to rebuild the American people’s faith and trust in the Secret Service as an agency.”

The formation of this task force marks a critical step toward understanding and addressing the security failures that led to this unprecedented event.

Kamala Harris Largely Ignores Trump Assassination Attempt… For Now

The presumptive Democrat nominee for President and current Vice President Kamala Harris has been trying to ignore the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life ever since it happened. This is, frankly, a smart political move in the short term. It buys her time to get her story straight and have a response that isn’t too sympathetic to former President Donald Trump.

That’s the inherent problem she has, though. She and all the other Democrats have been labeling Donald Trump the devil incarnate and now that they have to give him sympathy, that’s a problem for their own base and only drives independents into the corner of Donald Trump and the Republicans.

Sooner or later, she will be asked more about this issue and if she tries to sidestep it for too long, she will risk disenfranchising the voters in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania who want to hear that the political games are put aside just for a moment to show respect for former President Donald Trump.
