Many Democrats are in lock-step. But not this one.
And the Democrat Party is flabbergasted after one of their own betrays them.
Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman is refusing to play along with his party’s latest fit of insanity. While many Democrats chase every opportunity to undermine President Trump, the senator from the Rust Belt stepped up on a recent podcast and delivered a reality check that left-wing activists won’t soon forget.
Facing questions about the Trump administration’s decisive moves against Iran, Fetterman made it crystal clear where his loyalty lies: with America.
In the interview with Nick Gillespie, Fetterman stood firm in support of the campaign targeting the Islamic Republic’s threats.
When asked if he trusts intel coming from President Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth, Fetterman didn’t back down.
“100%, I trust the Trump administration, and Trump a hell of a lot more than I would ever trust the Iranians or the Chinese or the Russians,” Fetterman stated.
He went further, cutting straight to the heart of the Democratic meltdown:
“We are all Americans. That’s what we’re forgetting. You know, the Democratic Party can’t become the TDS party. … And clearly that’s where we are right now.”
Fetterman acknowledged that reasonable people can disagree on specific tactics without descending into partisan sabotage.
“That does not mean you agree on every tactic that’s happened,” he said. “I don’t appreciate the gamification of the Iranian war.”
The senator then exposed the staggering hypocrisy that defines modern left-wing foreign policy. Democrats and their activist allies rush to condemn Israel while giving Iran a free pass despite its nuclear ambitions and history of aggression. Fetterman demanded consistency.
“We have a nuclear power at the cusp, and it’s entirely appropriate to hold them accountable for what they’ve done,” he stated.
“And clearly a lot of people in the world care and had strong opinions on Gaza, well then, why don’t you have the same kinds of views and condemn Iran too?”
The regime in Tehran has spilled rivers of its own people’s blood. During brutal crackdowns on protests, Iranian forces reportedly slaughtered tens of thousands seeking freedom from the mullahs’ grip. Yet the same voices screaming about other conflicts stayed completely silent.
“The same people that were outraged about the war in Gaza. They gave no f*cks about Iran executing 30,000, 40,000 of its young people. Zero college campuses,” Fetterman continued.
This moment reveals a deeper rot. While everyday Americans want strength against genuine enemies abroad and unity at home, the professional left prioritizes endless grievance and selective outrage.
Fetterman’s words expose how far the Democratic Party has drifted from basic patriotism and common sense.
