Leftist senator claims Trump is guilty of these disturbing crimes

Donald Trump has heard it all at this point. But this may even shock him.

And this Leftist senator claimed Trump is guilty of these disturbing crimes.

In a jaw-dropping moment of Democratic weakness, Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen appeared on CNN’s The Arena Monday to smear President Trump’s firm approach to Iran as nothing short of criminal. While the world watches radical regimes threaten American interests and global shipping lanes, this career politician chose to lecture from the sidelines about supposed violations of international rules.

Van Hollen seized on a reported strike that allegedly k*lled more than 100 Iranian schoolgirls, framing it as fresh evidence that the Trump team plays dirty. Instead of demanding accountability from Tehran for its long history of sponsoring terror and destabilizing the region, the senator rushed to paint American resolve as the real danger.

Host Kasie Hunt pressed Van Hollen on his own social media post, reading it back verbatim to the camera:

“You say it’s an illegal war. You also posted this today. ‘Let’s be clear, targeting civilian infrastructure is a war crime under international law. The world has called out Russia for doing exactly this in Ukraine. If Trump and Hegseth follow Putin’s playbook, they must be held accountable. Now, you were talking about targeting Iran’s power grid there. So if the president goes through with this, what would the appropriate sanction be?”

Van Hollen didn’t hesitate to escalate the attack. “Well, that would be a war crime. If the president just goes and targets Iran’s infrastructure, civilian infrastructure, there are very narrow circumstances where a country can target infrastructure for military purposes,” he said.

“But the president has said here is unless you open the Strait of Hormuz, we’re going to blow up all your civilian infrastructure, which is clearly a violation of international law. And so the president should be held accountable in international tribunals or in the United States.”

The senator went further, openly musing about hauling Trump before foreign judges once he leaves office:

“There are ways that people can bring cases, you know, against individuals in the United States who have committed war crimes. Obviously, while the president is in the white House, this Supreme Court has made it much more difficult to hold the president accountable. But when he leaves office, he could still be vulnerable to accountability through the courts and, obviously, international tribunals as well.”

“But again, hopefully we won’t get to that point. We should also have an investigation into exactly what happened when a U.S. Tomahawk missile k*lled over 100 Iranian schoolgirls. I mean, we have a secretary of defense who said he wanted to get rid of what he said were stupid rules of engagement. Those rules of engagement are designed to uphold international law and prevent civilian harm.”

What Van Hollen calls “stupid rules of engagement” are exactly the kind of bureaucratic nonsense that Americans are tired of.

Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for Defense Secretary, has rightly called out these restrictions that force our troops to fight with one hand tied behind their backs while enemies hide behind civilians and propaganda.

The Strait of Hormuz is no minor waterway; it is the artery that keeps oil flowing to the free world. Iran has choked it before, and Trump is sending the only message dictators understand: reopen it or face consequences.

Yet Van Hollen and his crowd would rather tie the president’s hands than confront the mullahs who chant “death to America” on state television.
