Nancy Pelosi has officially lost her mind. She’s spewing extremism at every turn.
And Pelosi rocked federal agents with a heart-stopping threat.
In a move that reeks of desperation, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from California dropped a bombshell on Wednesday. She’s pushing for local cops to slap handcuffs on federal agents who dare to uphold America’s immigration laws and tackle surging crime waves.
Pelosi, teaming up with fellow Democrat Rep. Kevin Mullin, fired off a joint statement that’s nothing short of a declaration of war on federal authority.
They claim, “While the President may enjoy absolute immunity courtesy of his rogue Supreme Court, those who operate under his orders do not. Our state and local authorities may arrest federal agents if they break California law — and if they are convicted, the President cannot pardon them.”
This isn’t just talk; it’s a direct assault on the brave men and women in ICE and other agencies working overtime to secure the nation under President Trump’s renewed focus on law and order.
Over in San Francisco, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins is the mastermind behind this outrageous plan. According to reports from The New York Times, she cooked up the idea after supposedly witnessing federal agents getting tough in places like Los Angeles and Chicago.
Jenkins didn’t pull this out of thin air. She explained, “I had lead time to think about what authority I have and what I can do. This is something I felt very strongly about, and I had my office research it.”
The New York Times laid it out clearly: “District Attorney Jenkins said she did not envision police officers handcuffing federal agents in full view on city streets. Instead, she said, local law enforcement could review camera footage of beatings, if they occur, and try to identify the agent involved. Then, she said, she would ask a judge to sign a warrant for the agent’s arrest and seek to prosecute the agent in court.”
But let’s be real—this scheme is riddled with holes. As the report notes:
“That could be much easier said than done. Many federal agents are operating in masks and without badges or other identification; a California law barring agents from wearing masks does not take effect until January and even then is quite likely to face legal challenges. And the Trump administration could seek immunity for its officers or ignore the warrants altogether, Ms. Jenkins acknowledged.”
Jenkins brushes off the obstacles with a narrow focus, saying, “For me, this is about San Francisco and what I need to do for San Francisco.”
Legal experts aren’t buying into this fantasy either. Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the Berkeley School of Law, pointed out the shaky ground they’re on, stating, “As long as the ICE agents are acting legally, the state can’t prosecute them and hold them liable, even if it dislikes what they’re doing.”
This whole episode exposes the deep rot in California’s mentality, where protecting illegal immigrants trumps safeguarding American citizens from crime and chaos.
President Trump has made it crystal clear: America is done with open borders that flood communities with drugs, gangs, and violence.
It’s no secret that places like San Francisco have turned into dystopian nightmares under Democrat rule—needles in the streets, skyrocketing theft, and now this attempt to handcuff the feds who might actually clean it up.
Pelosi and her crew are playing a dangerous game, pitting local authorities against the national interest in a bid to keep their failed policies alive.
This shows how far the left will go to undermine America’s sovereignty, all while everyday folks pay the price in higher crime and lost jobs.
