Scary moment in Congress goes viral as Representative has seizure

The representatives in Congress are not okay. Some are just mentally unwell.

And now a scary moment in Congress has gone viral as a Representative appears to have a seizure.

The political theater in Congress is truly getting out of hand. It seems like all the legislators in Washington, D.C. — who are supposed to be working to solve issues and better America with the power of the purse and designing bills — want to do is try to make a name for themselves to promote their political trajectory. Future re-elections and bigger opportunities in politics is all they really care about.

This is evident in the way that most legislators in Congress will make sure that if the C-SPAN cameras are rolling on them on a hot-button issue, they draw up some wild theater in hopes that it goes viral on the internet or gets talked about by the Big Media outlets like Fox News and CNN.

Who could possibly forget when Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and a number of other Democrats were kneeling with their masks on (six feet apart of course, since it was during the pandemic panic) in “solidarity” with the Black Lives Matter mob during the 2020 riots? This month marks four years since that summer of chaos that the Democrats were egging on.

Sometimes political theater is effective, but sometimes it just falls flat on its face. Recently, a top U.S. Representative tried some political theater that had many believing he was having a seizure or that something else horrible was happening. All in search of fame.

Adam Schiff Repeatedly Calls Trump “Guilty” During Heated Judiciary Committee Hearing

In a dramatic display at a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Democratic Representative Adam Schiff of California emphatically repeated the word “guilty” 34 times in reference to former President Donald Trump. This incident occurred during a session scrutinizing the conduct of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office, which prosecuted Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

The session was particularly charged, with Schiff — a prominent critic of Trump — quoting the unanimous verdict of the five-woman, seven-man jury that found Trump guilty. Schiff’s repeated utterance of “guilty” was directed towards highlighting the verdict before questioning CNN legal analyst and former ambassador Norm Eisen.

“Guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty,” Schiff proclaimed, regarding the jury’s decision.

However, the committee session saw strong opposition from Republican members and other witnesses, who questioned the trial’s fairness. Federal Election Commission (FEC) member Trey Trainor and attorney Elizabeth Foley were among those expressing concerns about potential bias. Their skepticism was partly based on donations made by New York Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the trial. According to FEC records, Merchan donated $15 to Biden’s presidential campaign and two $10 donations — one to a Democratic group called “Stop Republicans” and another to the “Progressive Turnout Project” — via ActBlue in 2020.

Amid the contentious atmosphere, Schiff accused Republicans of compromising their political integrity and queried Eisen on the potential implications of a second Trump administration. Eisen responded by drawing a parallel between Trump and historical figures associated with the Confederacy and southern segregationists.

“Donald Trump represents the most grave danger to this country, at least since the end of Jim Crow, very likely since the commencement of the Civil War, and perhaps since the founding of our nation,” Eisen stated.

Of course, Adam Schiff took the opportunity to toot his own horn on Twitter (also known as X) and shared the clip of him in Congress sounding like a broken record saying “Guilty” thirty times over. And in the caption, he just typed “Guilty” thirty four times over again.

Americans didn’t take too well to the political theater, and pointed out that Democrats are obsessed with fake nonsense that doesn’t make any difference in the lives of Americans or help the country in any way.

One top reply to his post pointed out that Democrats were repeating Russia from the rooftops but it was a nothing-burger, which many Americans believe to be true of the Manhattan trial Trump endured as well.
