But a top Democrat loses job after making this horrific statement.
After the horrific shooting of a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee by a transgender-identified individual, Democrats immediately launched into calls for more gun control.
The radical Left in this country will never let a good tragedy go to waste.
But politicizing a tragedy for your own gain may be bad, but it’s not even close to the calls for violence from Democrats in recent days.
Just yesterday, DC Daily Journal reported on a Wayne State University professor who lauded the act of killing those who disagree with gender ideology.
“Although I do not advocate violating federal and state criminal codes, I think it is far more admirable to kill a racist, homophobic or transphobic speaker than it is to shout them down,” Steven Shaviro stated.
That’s right, it’s better to kill your opponents than argue with them.
Granted, Shaviro is a university professor, an area long infected with Woke Left ideas.
But even public officials are cracking jokes about harming those who disagree with them.
The spokesperson for Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs was chastised online when she tweeted an image Monday proposing “transphobes” be gunned down, just hours after a transgender woman slaughtered six people, including three young children, inside a Nashville Christian school.
Josselyn Berry, Hobbs’ press assistant, tweeted a GIF from the 1980 film “Gloria” that showed actress Gena Rowlands clutching two handguns and was captioned “Us when we see transphobes.”

It was tweeted on Monday, as the country mourned the deaths of three 9-year-old children and three adults at the Presbyterian-run Covenant School in Music City by a 28-year-old woman who was eventually murdered by courageous police.
“Less than 12 hours after the tragic shooting in Nashville by a deranged transgender activist, Katie Hobbs’s Press Secretary calls for shooting people Democrats disagree with,” the Arizona Freedom Caucus said in a statement. “Calling for violence like this is un-American & never acceptable. Josselyn Berry should be fired immediately.”
Berry, who had also earlier tweeted, “If you work in the progressive community and are transphobic, you’re not progressive,” took her Twitter account private as calls for her to be fired poured in.
Hobbs did not immediately reply to the action of her spokesman, but she did express her sympathy to the families of those slain at the school.
“My family and I are sending all our love to the families affected by the tragic news out of Nashville,” wrote Hobbs, whose election victory over Kari Lake last November is still being challenged in court. “I know parents all over the country are hugging their kids a little tighter tonight.”
Berry should be fired, according to Daily Wire podcast presenter Matt Walsh.

And we’re happy to report, Berry has resigned from her post in the wake of the backlash.
