Both the radical “progressive” wing of the Democrat Party and the Democrat establishment were hoping that Biden would step aside to allow someone else a chance at running in 2024.
Because the reality is that Joe Biden has a ton of major issues to overcome in the upcoming election cycle.
According to a new ABC/The Washington Post poll, Joe Biden has reached a new record-low approval rating of just 36% for his first term in office so far.
But that’s not even the worst part.
The worst part for Joe Biden is that a vast majority of Americans at about 63% say that his mental health is in serious doubt in their opinion.

President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign is going to have to overcome some difficult numbers, including a record-low approval rating (36%), a majority doubting his mental acuity (63%), and strength by his GOP challengers, according to the latest ABC News/The Washington Post poll.
Furthermore, the ABC/Washington Post poll demonstrates that Joe Biden is going to have an extremely tough time against any one of the major Republicans running for office in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup.
Donald Trump was up over Joe Biden by a whopping 6 points in a hypothetical matchup, a major swing from the popular vote results of the 2020 election that Biden controversially won.
Ron DeSantis, a dark horse in the race who has yet to announce, is also up in a major way against Joe Biden leading by 5 points in a hypothetical matchup.
Most of this comes down to the fact that Joe Biden is simply not well fit for the office of the President anymore, at least in the eyes of most Americans.
In 2020, about 43% of Americans believed that Joe Biden’s mental health was too poor to be serving as the President of the United States.
That number swelled to 54% in 2022, and now sits at a sobering 63%.
The problems don’t end there for Biden either. He’s also got a major problem with the young voters he relied on in the 2020 election.
Less than 26% of Americans under the age of 30 approve of Joe Biden’s job as the President so far.
All of these numbers spell doom for Joe Biden as the 2024 election nears. But the biggest factor driving all of these poor poll results for Biden is his fading mental health that everyone can see from a mile away.
