Democrats are on the defense. There’s nothing they can do to stop the tide.
And now RFK Jr. ended Kamala’s campaign with a shocking confession.
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reportedly proposed to strike a deal with Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris in which he would withdraw from the campaign and endorse her in exchange for a job in her possible administration.
Kennedy promptly dismissed the accusations as “fake news” and delivered a startling blow to Harris’ candidacy and the Democratic party. Kennedy was a lifelong party member until last October.
The Washington Post reported Wednesday evening that Harris’ team had “not responded with an offer to meet or shown interest in [Kennedy’s] proposal.”
According to the Post, Kennedy met with President Donald Trump in Milwaukee last month “to discuss a similar policy role and endorsement that resulted in no agreement.”
“In those discussions, Kennedy spoke about advising Trump in a second term on health and medical issues,” according to the Washington Post.
On Thursday morning, Kennedy took to X (previously Twitter) and posted a lengthy comment condemning Harris and the 2024 Democrats, most likely in response to the Post’s report the night before.
“I have no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President,” he stated. “I do have a plan to defeat her.”
“VP Harris’s Democratic Party would be unrecognizable to my father and uncle, and I cannot reconcile it with my values,” Kennedy wrote, alluding to the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy and President John F. Kennedy.
“The Democratic Party of RFK and JFK was the party of civil liberties and free speech,” he insisted:
VP Harris’s is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion.
Kennedy Democrats were anti-war. Kamala’s is riddled with neocon warmongers.
The RFK/JFK dems were allies of Main Street, cops, firefighters, and working people. VP Harris’s is the Party of Big Tech, Big Pharma and Wall Street.
“My dad and uncle’s party was the champion of voting rights and fair elections,” Kennedy added. “VP Harris’s is the party of lawfare, disenfranchisement, and the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites.”
His post went on to scrutinize Harris’ problematic criminal past and her recent avoidance of the media:
I’ve used our nation’s courts to prosecute corporations who hurt Black Americans. VP Harris used our nation’s courts to mercilessly prosecute Black Americans and exploit them for their labor.
My father and uncle prided themselves on their skills at debate and their ability to articulate a coherent vision for our country. VP Harris is scared to debate and can’t survive an unscripted interview.
“Instead of outlining a vision, [Harris] relies on middleschool tactics,” Kennedy further noted, “memes, forged headlines, infantile slogans (Joy!) and name calling (‘Republicans are weird.’)”
“I’ve spent years battling government corruption and lies,” he told reporters. “VP Harris spent years gaslighting Americans about the health of our Commander in Chief [President Joe Biden].”
