The former president is still trying to stay relevant. But it’s not working the way he wants it to.
And Biden left Trump speechless by making this absurd social media post.
In a stunning display of leadership, President Donald Trump has sealed a groundbreaking cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, bringing hope to a region long plagued by conflict. But leave it to the old guard Democrats like Joe Biden and Antony Blinken to try and steal the spotlight, claiming they laid the groundwork for this victory. Trump’s deal isn’t just a win—it’s a masterstroke that exposes the failures of the previous administration.
Biden, who’s battling cancer these days, took to X to pat himself on the back. He declared that he was grateful and relieved” that the Gaza war is coming to a stop. The former president couldn’t resist reminding everyone how his team supposedly paved the way.
“The road to this deal was not easy,” Biden stated. “My Administration worked relentlessly to bring hostages home, get relief to Palestinian civilians, and end the war.”
Yet, in a rare moment of honesty, Biden admitted Trump deserved praise for pushing it through. He gave Trump credit for getting “a renewed ceasefire deal over the finish line.” It’s almost like Biden knows deep down who the real dealmaker is.
Biden wrapped up his post with optimism, saying, “Now, with the backing of the United States and the world, the Middle East is on a path to peace that I hope endures and a future for Israelis and Palestinians alike with equal measures of peace, dignity, and safety.”
I am deeply grateful and relieved that this day has come – for the last living 20 hostages who have been through unimaginable hell and are finally reunited with their families and loved ones, and for the civilians in Gaza who have experienced immeasurable loss and will finally…

Not to be outdone, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken jumped in with his own take. He argued that Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza borrowed heavily from ideas cooked up under Biden. Blinken laid out the path to peace in a detailed X post, pointing out how Arab nations and Turkey finally turned their backs on Hamas.
He highlighted that Iran’s proxies, like Hezbollah and the Houthis in Yemen, stayed on the sidelines. “It starts with a clear and comprehensive post-conflict plan for Gaza,” Blinken said. “It’s good that President Trump adopted and built on the plan the Biden administration developed after months of discussion with Arab partners, Israel and the Palestinian Authority.”
Blinken recalled a short-lived cease-fire his team pulled off in January, which freed 135 hostages before it crumbled. He even pondered aloud how Trump might lock in something lasting.
When Fox News’ Peter Doocy grilled Trump about Blinken’s comments on Air Force One, the president didn’t mince words. “Everybody knows it’s a joke,” the president said. “Look, they did such a bad job. This should have never happened.”
Trump didn’t stop there, blasting the Biden-Obama era for bungling foreign policy. “If just a decent president — not a great president like me — if a decent president were in, you wouldn’t have had the Russia-Ukraine (war),” Trump stated. “This was bad policy by Biden and Obama.”
Meanwhile, Trump was on the ground in Egypt, hammering out the next steps of the cease-fire and rubbing shoulders with over 20 global leaders. This isn’t armchair diplomacy; it’s Trump getting his hands dirty to make history.
“We’ve heard it for many years, but nobody thought it could ever get there. And now we’re there,” he said.
Trump continued, “This is the day that people across this region and around the world have been working, striving, hoping and praying for.” And with this pact, those hopes are turning into reality. “With the historic agreement we have just signed, those prayers of millions have finally been answered. Together, we have achieved the impossible.”
Back to Blinken, who urged quick action on the postwar Gaza setup. He stressed the need to assemble an international force, strip Hamas of its weapons, handle any holdouts, and ensure Israel pulls back in stages. Fair points, but it’s Trump who’s making it happen, not the talkers in Washington.
Blinken also nodded to Trump for sticking to core ideas from the war’s start—no terror havens, no land grabs, no endless occupations, no forced moves—and aiming for a real shot at Palestinian statehood. Credit where due, but it’s Trump’s bold moves that turned plans into peace.
