The Democrats’ war against the Supreme Court has gone too far. They’re personally going after the Justices.
And Clarence Thomas was just attacked by a major Democrat with just three staggering words.
When Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the bench of the U.S. Supreme Court, Democrats officially lost their control over the Highest Court in the land.
That’s why they fought tooth and nail to prevent him from being confirmed, even resorting to the most disgusting character assassination you’ll see in politics.
Conservatives were still not comfortable with just the additions of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh to give them a thin 5-4 conservative-liberal split on the bench.
After all, conservatives on the bench have long confused the conservative American people with head-scratching opinions that just play into the hands of the liberal Justices.
Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination and confirmation truly set the conservative majority in stone, though. Since then, the SCOTUS has handed down major rulings like the Dobbs ruling that effectively overturned Roe v. Wade.
Most recently, the Biden EPA was handed a loss from the Supreme Court that has hippy Leftist environmentalists screaming about some tree-hugging nonsense.
Democrats don’t like not having the Supreme Court in their back pocket anymore, and they are certainly complaining about it.
Late last week, U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) accused the Supreme Court of being a “fact free zone” and said that Congress has the power and should impose so-called “ethical standards” on the Supreme Court.
“The problem with the Supreme Court is that they’re in a fact-free zone as well as an ethics-free zone,” said on NBC on Sunday.
Just a few weeks ago, the nine Justices all defended Clarence Thomas of the ethical violation accusations that the Democrats have been complaining about in the news as of late.
Chief Justice Roberts also said that the Justices deserve to exercise the separation of powers laid out in the Constitution to protect the integrity of the Supreme Court. He sent a letter to Congress saying that the Supreme Court Justices would be declining the request for them to testify.
“Testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee by the Chief Justice of the United States is exceedingly rare, as one might expect in light of separation of powers concerns and the importance of preserving judicial independence,” Roberts said in the letter to Congress.
Senator Whitehouse, though, seems to believe that Congress can and should pass laws to impose restrictions on the Supreme Court.
“It’s constitutional because the laws that we’re talking about right now are actually laws passed by Congress,” Whitehouse said.
It’s obvious that Senator Whitehouse is merely lashing out against the Supreme Court because he doesn’t like the rulings that have impacted American society in a way he disagrees with.
The Supreme Court in recent years has become more divided than ever before with serious political disagreements among the Justices.
So when they all agree on something, it’s worth taking note of. And they all agree that Clarence Thomas has not violated any ethical standards, or any other Justice for that matter.
That includes Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the newest member of the bench who was nominated by Joe Biden and praised by Democrats like Senator Whitehouse.
But they don’t want to talk about that.
