Democrats want the Bidens to fade into the background. But their legal woes continue.
And now a federal judge has devastated the Biden family with a massive criminal case verdict.
On Monday, a federal judge rejected Hunter Biden’s attempt to dismiss his tax charges on procedural grounds. Biden’s argument was based on the ruling that dismissed the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump. However, California Judge Mark Scarsi was not persuaded by the comparison.
Judge Scarsi denied Biden’s request, ruling that the motion was untimely and attempted to reargue points previously addressed in court. He emphasized that the issue had already been settled: “The Court already adjudicated Mr. Biden’s Appointments and Appropriations Clause challenges in his timely filed motion to dismiss,” Scarsi stated.
He further noted, “The Court declines to reach the merits of the motion because there is no valid basis for reconsideration of the Court’s order denying Mr. Biden’s motion to dismiss the indictment for Appropriations and Appointments Clause violations.”
In addition to rejecting the motion, Judge Scarsi reprimanded Biden’s legal team for making false claims about special counsel David Weiss’s prosecution in their dismissal request. Although he reminded them that “candor is paramount,” he did not impose formal sanctions.
Biden’s attorneys argued that special counsel David Weiss’s appointment was unconstitutional following Florida Judge Aileen Cannon’s dismissal of special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution of Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents after leaving office. Cannon had ruled that Attorney General Merrick Garland’s appointment of Smith violated the appointments clause of the Constitution. The Justice Department is currently appealing Cannon’s decision while keeping Smith in control of the case.

A key distinction between Weiss and Smith lies in their statuses before their appointments. Weiss, serving as U.S. Attorney for Delaware, was already an officer of the United States, unlike Smith, who was a private citizen before becoming special counsel.
Earlier this year, Judge Scarsi rejected several motions filed by Hunter Biden’s attorneys, including claims that Weiss’s appointment was unconstitutional. These denials add to the numerous setbacks Biden has faced in court.
Biden’s defense team also sought to have the tax charges dismissed by highlighting whistleblower disclosures from IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler. The agents alleged that the Justice Department deliberately delayed and obstructed the criminal investigation into Biden’s taxes. Both Shapley and Ziegler presented extensive documentation to back up their claims. In response, Biden’s legal team filed a lawsuit against the IRS agents, arguing that their disclosures violated the law.
In June, federal prosecutors secured a conviction against Hunter Biden on three federal gun charges for lying about his drug use on firearm paperwork and possessing a gun while addicted to crack cocaine.
Looking ahead, Weiss’s prosecution team is set to bring Biden to trial next month on nine federal tax-evasion charges. The charges involve allegations that Biden failed to pay over $1.4 million in taxes on time, neglected to file required tax forms, and submitted false tax returns over a four-year span. Biden has pleaded not guilty.
As the trial nears, federal prosecutors have filed court documents revealing that Hunter Biden and his business partners agreed to lobby the U.S. government on behalf of a Romanian businessman accused of corruption. The documents indicate that the lobbying scheme generated $3 million for Biden and his associates.
Biden’s attorneys have disputed the Justice Department’s characterization of the Romanian deal, which is expected to be a focal point in the upcoming trial as it relates to the income Biden received during the relevant time period.
Democrats Just Want The Bidens To Go Away
It is clear that the Democrat Party wants to do everything in their power to keep Joe Biden out of view until the November elections because the more he’s in the news, the more Americans will be reminded about his chaotic administration.
Just consider how the Democrats gave the sitting President the last speech of the opening night of the Democrat Convention. That’s a level of disrespect that’s unbelievable. Usually the highest ranking Party official, which is assumed to be a sitting President, is given the highest honor of giving the last speech of the entire convention.
Not for Joe Biden. They wanted to get his speech out of the way and get on with the rest of their sugar high from the Democrat Convention because they know the Bidens are political poison right now. That’s the entire reason why they staged a coup to kick Biden to the curb and undemocratically install Kamala Harris as the next cog in the machine.
