The stain of the Obama admin still hasn’t left U.S. politics. It will be there for a while.
And this former Obama official charged Trump with a war crime.
The Washington establishment is in full panic mode once again, this time over President Donald Trump’s decisive words aimed at stopping Iranian aggression dead in its tracks.
On a recent episode of MS NOW’s The Briefing, longtime Democrat insider and former Secretary of State John Kerry could not contain his outrage at the president’s firm approach.
Host Jen Psaki, fresh from her days spinning for the previous administration, teed up the conversation with a question dripping in alarm.
“Before the cease fire was announced this week. Donald Trump said, I know you saw this. A whole civilization will die tonight. It is language. I don’t think anyone has ever heard from a U.S. president publicly, privately, anyone in any position of power. It’s a pretty hard bell to unring. Given all of the roles you’ve played what did you think when you saw that,” she stated.
Psaki’s words lay bare the left’s discomfort with a leader who refuses to bow to global pressures.
Then Kerry jumped in, revealing the deep disdain these insiders hold for any display of American resolve.
“I was shocked, as I’ve been, by anything that I’ve seen or read by this administration and the first administration, and now in the second, for a Christian so called to step up on Easter Sunday and use language like that which kids are going to hear, and people all around the world will see as a reflection of our presidency it’s just utterly stunning,” Kerry said.
“And to be talking about, you know, we’re the city that hosts the Holocaust Museum. We’re that place that, you know, worked so hard to liberate Europe or free Europe from fascism and so many other contributions we’ve made around the world. And you step up and not only use language like that, but say a whole civilization is going to die that sounds to me like it’s the prelude, to, the coming one of the greatest war criminals in history.”
“When you k*ll a civilization, you are doing something precisely against all of the international norms, standards, values and hopes and aspirations.”
Imagine that: Kerry, the man who spent years cozying up to the mullahs, now pretends to be stunned by talk of consequences for a regime that exports terror.
Accusing Trump of becoming one of history’s greatest war criminals turns reality upside down, as true criminals thrive under weak leadership that emboldens dictators.
The idea that protecting our people violates international standards ignores how those very standards have failed time and again to stop evil regimes.
At the end of the day, everyday Americans see through this charade and stand with a president who speaks plainly and acts decisively to keep our nation safe from those who wish us harm.
