Martha MacCallum just delivered a masterclass in how to tear apart a slippery Democrat on live television, and Colorado Rep. Jason Crow walked straight into the trap.
Crow was one of the ringleaders behind that sleazy video a bunch of Democrat lawmakers recently made where they solemnly told troops to disobey “unlawful orders” from President Trump.
MacCallum wasn’t having any of it. She pinned Crow to the wall on The Story Wednesday night and kept asking the one question he desperately didn’t want to answer: Name the unlawful order.
Crow squirmed like a worm on a hook. First he brought up the famous Lafayette Square moment, claiming Trump told troops, “Can’t you just shoot them? Can’t you just shoot them in the legs or something?”
MacCallum shut that down in two seconds flat: “That was not a military order, that was a comment. That’s not a military order.”
But Crow kept swinging. He insisted it was a “request” and because it came from the president it magically becomes an order.
MacCallum went back in and asked for the Democrat to name an illegal order by President Trump. Crow’s next swing? Trump once talked tough about sending troops into crime-infested cities like Chicago.
Then came the polling-station fantasy. Crow claimed Trump “alluded” to putting troops at voting locations—something that’s actually against the law.
MacCallum nailed him again: “You’re talking about allusions, you’re not talking about actual policy.”
She even threw him a softball—maybe Crow was upset about Trump ordering the Navy to stop drug-smuggling boats before they dump poison on U.S. streets?
Instead he sneered, “Martha, here’s a novel idea: How about we actually prevent things from happening before they become a problem.”
MacCallum fired right back on the drug boats: “I think that’s what they’re trying to do!”
Crow fell back to his talking points: Trump has made “disturbing comments.”
Martha MacCallum just exposed the whole game for the American people to see: these people have zero evidence, zero examples, and zero shame. They’re banking on troops disobeying a president they spent years demonizing.
