Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is trying to stage a comeback. But she’s made a huge mistake.
Because Hillary Clinton has exposed herself as a true moron with this one comment.
For whatever reason, Hillary Clinton has been making her rounds in the media and in the public sphere lately after being silent for years following her 2016 election loss to Donald Trump.
There’s been rumors that the 75-year-old former Secretary of State for Barack Obama might be eyeing a return to Washington, D.C. office in some way.
One of the issues that Clinton had in 2016, however, was that she was completely out of touch with the average American voter.
Yes, Donald Trump was a good candidate for the Republican party to run that conservatives could get behind rather than another garbage candidate like Mitt Romney.
But make no mistake about it, 2016 was Hillary Clinton’s campaign to lose.
It seems as though she’s learned no lessons about being out of touch with the average American because she’s back at it making ridiculously dumb comments that has everyone rolling their eyes.
In a new interview, Hillary Clinton took time to defend the 89 years-old Senator from California, Dianne Feinstein, after the Senator has been facing concerns from the general public about her health and ability to serve in the Senate.
Clinton said that it was the decision of California voters to re-elect Feinstein in 2018 to serve another six years and that she’s been a “remarkable” leader.
“First of all, she has suffered greatly from the bout of shingles and encephalitis that she endured. Here is the dilemma for her: she got reelected, and the people of California voted for her again, not very long ago. That was the voters’ decision to vote for her, and she has been a remarkable and very effective leader,” Hillary said.
That’s all fine and well, but it’s what Hillary said next that’s truly moronic.
Clinton said that Republicans should do Democrats a favor and let them replace Feinstein on the Judiciary Committee should Feinstein retire.
“I don’t know in her heart about whether she really would or wouldn’t [retire], but right now, she can’t. Because if we’re going to get judges confirmed, which is one of the most important continuing obligations that we have, then we cannot afford to have her seat vacant.”
Republicans aren’t going to let Democrats off the hook for pushing for a Feinstein re-election in 2018. They have to face the consequences for it.
Hillary is also effectively admitting that the Democrats are holding the almost 90-year-old woman hostage because they want judicial confirmations.
How disgusting is that?
She continued to contradict herself by saying that she doesn’t “believe in broad questions about age” and said that “if you don’t want to vote for somebody, don’t vote for them.”
That’s exactly what the Republicans are saying, Hillary. Maybe if you didn’t want to deal with a Senator in poor health, you shouldn’t have pushed Feinstein’s re-election back in 2018.
These comments from Hillary come on the heels of her admitting that Joe Biden’s age is a major issue and that people “have the right to consider” Biden’s age an issue for the 2024 election.
Which is it, Hillary Clinton? Your flip-flopping and out-of-touch character is showing yet again.
