Hunter Biden is done for after this bombshell confession from an Intel veteran

Hunter and Joe

The Biden family has been embroiled in scandal for years now. Hunter Biden’s laptop has been the biggest thorn in Joe’s side.

And Hunter Biden is done for after this bombshell confession from an Intel veteran.

One of the biggest stories to come out of the 2020 presidential election was the New York Post’s exposé of Hunter Biden’s alleged corruption.

The laptop contained details of Hunter’s life and financial dealings which have led to investigations.

In the lead-up to the 2020 election, then-candidate Joe Biden denied its authenticity, and 51 intelligence officials signed a letter claiming it was Russian disinformation.

But now one of those officials is coming clean.

One of the 51 intelligence veterans who signed a letter alleging the Hunter Biden laptop tale was part of a Russian misinformation effort said they knew the device’s contents were real at the time.

The letter was used to reject the laptop and its origins. Many of its contents have now been studied and proven to be authentic.

Douglas Wise, a former Defense Intelligence Agency deputy director, told The Australian in a new interview more than two years later, “all of us figured that a significant portion of that content had to be real to make any Russian disinformation credible.”

The letter’s signatories, who included former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan, warned that the appearance of reporting about the laptop in October 2020 “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Going beyond what the letter stated, Politico published a headline that stated the former intelligence officials claimed the piece was “Russian disinfo.”

Hunter’s father, then-candidate Joe Biden, used the letter during one of his debates with then-President Donald Trump to cast doubt on the laptop claim.

“The letter said it had the earmarks of Russian deceit and we should consider that as a possibility,” Wise stressed.

“It did not say Hunter Biden was a good guy, it didn’t say what he did was right and it wasn’t exculpatory, it was just a cautionary letter.”

Wise also said he does not regret signing the letter “because context is important” and noted that the laptop’s “chain of custody” left open the possibility that “Russians or even ill-intended conservative elements could have planted stuff in there.”

The laptop, which was reportedly abandoned at a computer repair shop in Delaware before the FBI recovered it, contains information regarding Hunter Biden’s personal life and business issues.

The president’s son is now being investigated by the federal government, including his international business transactions and tax affairs, albeit the existence of the investigation was not made public until after the 2020 election. Hunter Biden has stated that he expects to be exonerated.

Before becoming Speaker, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) vowed Republicans will subpoena the dozens of intelligence veterans who signed the letter in the new Congress.

The question needs to be answered, why did officials wait until after the 2020 election to admit to the investigation and the authenticity of the laptop?
