House Republicans are right on the heels of the Biden administration. Now there’s no where for Biden to hide anymore.
Because Joe Biden’s been slapped with a subpoena that ruined his day.
Chairman of the House Oversight Committee James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, filed a subpoena on Wednesday requesting that the FBI turn over an unclassified document alleging a criminal conspiracy between President Joe Biden and a foreign national dating back to when he was the vice president.
According to a statement on the Oversight Committee’s website, the subpoena was issued as a result of legally protected disclosures made to the administration of Senator Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee and an advocate of whistleblowers.
An FD-1023 form created by the FBI was identified as the document, which “allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions.”
According to Comer, the evidence, which was given by a whistleblower, “raises concerns that then-Vice President Biden allegedly engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national.”
“We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current president of the United States,” Grassley claimed.
“What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further. The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight.”
In response to the subpoena issued on Wednesday, the FBI is required to turn over all FD-1023s including the word “Biden,” as well as any related attachments and documents.
“The American people need to know if President Biden sold out the United States of America to make money for himself,” Comer argued.
“Sen. Grassley and I will seek the truth to ensure accountability for the American people.”
Grassley has been voicing concerns about political prejudice influencing the FBI’s inquiry decisions for a while now, including worries about inquiries into the bank records and overseas business dealings of the Biden family.
“While FBI Director Christopher Wray pledged to prevent any retaliation targeting whistleblowers, the FBI and Justice Department have thus far refused to voluntarily provide responsive records or answers to congressional inquiries related to its handling of these politically sensitive investigations,” the statement from the committee read.
The statement went on to say that Comer and it have been looking into the Biden family and its financial dealings to see if they have been the target of foreign governments, if Biden has been compromised, and if there is a concern to national security.
The statement added that the oversight committee recently disclosed a deal showing that several members of the president’s family and their companies received more than $1 million from a Chinese company, paid through a third party.
“The Oversight Committee has obtained thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family and their associates’ business transactions,” the statement said.
These investigations into the corruption of Joe Biden and his administration are the last thing that he wants to deal with right as he’s launching his re-election campaign.
A vast majority of Americans already don’t want to see Joe Biden run again according to the polls, and that includes the Democrat voting base.
Combine that with his garbage approval ratings and Joe Biden has a serious problem on his hands.
These investigations will only further stain his first term that has been riddled with controversy from the beginning.
