And the real reason Joe Biden’s dropping out is truly disturbing.
Throughout American history, there have been momentous events that were so shocking to the American public, they simply couldn’t believe it. No event better represents this than the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in November of 1963. That event rocked the public’s confidence so much that even to this day the majority of Americans don’t believe what went down on November 22, 1963 lines up perfectly with what the federal government has said.
America almost went through another situation just like that with the attempted assassination on former President Donald Trump on July 13. Simply put, a ton of Americans are having it hard to believe that there were so many grave mistakes made by the Secret Service that day. Mistakes that allowed for a psycho to post up on a roof with a perfect vantage point to take shots at Donald Trump.
Fast forward a week, and you have the unpopular incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden announcing that he would be stepping down from seeking a second term for President. Many expected this, but no one expected it to take this long. Truly, he’s left the Democrats with verty little time to turn the optics around and find a candidate with validity in the eyes of the American voters. Which makes you wonder why he dragged his feet. Why did he sit down in front of George Stephanopoulos on ABC and insist he was running when he wasn’t?
The Disturbing Timeline of Donald Trump’s Assassination Attempt and Biden’s Dropout
Let’s go back to May of this year. Donald Trump’s team was given news that Joe Biden wanted to debate Donald Trump on June 27, in a debate hosted by CNN. CNN, of course, has been one of the leading voices against Donald Trump over the past eight years. They’ve spent much of their news focus on him alone. So, no doubt, this was supposed to be a cake walk for Mr. Joe Biden.
Not only that, but Joe Biden’s team had rules they wanted for the debate. Two weeks ahead of the debate, CNN announced the rules that both campaigns had agreed to. These rules were supposed to help Joe Biden, according to the media at the time. Little did they know what was about to happen.
The rules they agreed to critically included that when someone was not to be speaking, their microphone would be shut off. There would be no interjecting oneself and interrupting. They would have some grace time to finish up a point when responding to a question or rebutting, but that was it. This was supposed to be devastating for the former President Donald Trump because he thrives on the “off-the-cuff” debates. His 2016 moment of crushing Hillary Clinton by saying “because you’d be in jail” came off the cuff and out of nowhere.
Then the debate arrived. And oh boy was it a dumpster fire. Not only did Joe Biden immediately look frail and out of his element, but Donald Trump was the calm, cool, and collected one for the vast majority of the evening. The two really didn’t interrupt each other, and this helped Donald Trump look like the reasonable one next to Joe Biden who was lashing out and who looked like he was one bad cough away from passing out right there on the debate stage.
Part 1: Calls for Joe Biden to Dropout Lead to ABC Interview
A week went by and the Joe Biden campaign needed to do something about the fact that there were intensifying calls for him to step aside given what the American people had just seen from him that night in the debate on June 27th. It was truly shocking and it wasn’t even defensible for his allies.
As soon as the debate had concluded, even Joe Biden’s friends in CNN were lamenting what they had seen and were leading conjecture about what was going to happen next. Who would replace Joe Biden as the nominee for the Democrats in the upcoming election? If they wanted to do that, they needed to fast because Donald Trump was surging and the optics were getting worse for Biden. The Democrat convention was a month and change away.
Then came the ABC interview with George Stephanopoulos. This was the moment for Joe Biden to calm the fears of the Democrats. He sat in front of ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and told the American people that he just had an off night and that he was totally fine. When pressed by Stephanopoulos about whether he would heed the calls of his Democrat allies to step aside, he said that only an act of God coming down to tell him that he needed to suspend his campaign would make that a reality.
Part 2: The Assassination Attempt on Donald Trump’s Life
In the two weeks after the ABC interview, Joe Biden and his allies were extremely defiant about Joe Biden stepping down. They said a million times that there was no way that he would be stepping aside under any circumstances. Joe Biden insisted he was the guy who would beat Donald Trump. He also insisted he would serve a full second term, no matter what.
The speculation started to die down a little bit, but there was still a ton of talk about Joe Biden’s fitness. Then came the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life that changed everything. July 13 will go down as a day that America averted a serious crisis by the grace of God alone.
On July 13, Thomas Matthew Crooks at 20 years old was able to post up on a roof about 130 yards away from where Donald Trump was speaking at a Butler, Pennsylvania rally for his campaign. He got on the roof with a ladder and took with him an AR-15. Though he was spotted by many individuals and even law enforcement and the Secret Service was aware of his threat, they let Donald Trump take the stage.
Minutes into Donald Trump’s speech, Thomas Matthew Crooks started firing at Donald Trump and into the crowd. Within seconds after his open fire, he was taken out by a Secret Service agent with a sniper rifle who had eyes on him immediately. It’s still not clear whether the agent had eyes on him before and during the pull of the trigger by Thomas Matthew Crooks.
In the aftermath of this tragedy, Americans were demanding answers. How was this allowed to happen? Why was Donald Trump not informed of the threat before he took the stage? Why was he allowed to go on stage? Why was there a roof that was left insecure? Why was there a water tower spot up point also left insecure? The questions are too many to list.
The answers from the direct of the Secret Service helped no one understand anything. The director said that there were no agents on the roof that the shooter posted up on because it had a slant that made it unsafe for agents. An unbelievable answer that doesn’t sit well in the stomach at all.
Part 3: The Joe Biden Dropout Announcement
Less than a week passes after the Trump assassination attempt and on Friday the 19th of July, reports started flying that Joe Biden would be stepping aside. A Newsmax reporter said that his sources were telling him that the decision had been made that week and that the announcement would came as soon as Sunday the 21st.
That’s exactly what happened. At around noon, the announcement went out and rocked the nation once again that Joe Biden was officially stepping down from seeking a second term as President.
Now you just have to put it all together to make sense of it all. But when you do, it’s truly ugly and stomach-churning.
Was Donald Trump Supposed To Be Out Of The Picture?
When you merely walk through the timeline of events here since before the debate, it reveals something that, if true, is enough to make a grown man sick to his stomach. Was Donald Trump supposed to be taken out of the picture? Was he supposed to be “taken care of” after Democrats realized they had no shot against him with Joe Biden? The answer may be one we’ll never get an official answer to.
It’s hard to ignore the reality here, though. The Biden team was extremely serious about the fact that Biden would be getting another term in office, period. There was no convincing him to step aside. How was he convinced in the days after Donald Trump’s failed assassination attempt?
What may be convincing enough is if a plan goes awry. There’s simply no denying that the timeline is an ugly one. Again, this is a series of events that the American people are going to have a hard time swallowing, a lot like the assassination fo John F. Kennedy back in 1963.
It’s only by the grace of God that the evil plot to take out Donald Trump was not successful. No matter who was involved, you can only hope and pray that justice is served. If you ask us, the answer isn’t as simple as Thomas Matthew Crooks.
