Leaked Homeland Security documents prove an awful political persecution

Everyone is a national security threat under Democrats. If they can paint Americans that way, then they can have their way with them.

And now leaked Homeland Security documents prove an awful political persecution.

You know what annoys Democrats more than anything? Americans who love their country and the principles we were founded upon.

But don’t take our word for it, just look at their own documents.

According to records obtained by America First Legal, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advisory group determined that being religious, having served in the military, or supporting former President Donald Trump are all indicators of domestic extremism.

The legal nonprofit received documents from the now-defunct Homeland Intelligence Experts Group through a lawsuit and released the most recent tranche of documents on Friday.

America First Legal, together with former ambassador Ric Grenell, sued the Department of Homeland Security over the board, which featured former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Brennan and Clapper actively promoted Russian collusion conspiracy theories against Trump, and in October 2020, both former national security officials questioned the validity of Hunter Biden’s laptop, blaming it on Russian disinformation.

According to the defunct board’s notes, experts identified “being in the military or religious” as a sign of domestic radicals. The board suggested that Trump supporters make up “the majority of the domestic terrorism threat.”

“If you ask researchers to dive into indicators of extremists and terrorism, they might indicate being in the military or religious. This being identified as an indicator suggests we should be more worried about these. We need the space to talk about it honestly,” notes from the board said.

“There is a political backdrop to all of this,” the notes stated.

“It seems that most of the Domestic Terrorism threat now comes from supporters of the former president. It is not like you want a political advantage, but people have attacked the government and its institutions for the last six years.”

America First Legal published the notes as part of its “#DeepStateDiaries” series, which features documents obtained from the Biden administration that disclose details about its inner workings.

The legal nonprofit released the first installment of the series on Thursday.

Gene Hamilton, executive director of American First Legal, described the revelations as proof of “unabashed partisanship” at Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ DHS, as well as an attempt to use federal government authorities against political opponents.

“These shocking records reveal apparent unabashed partisanship on this Deep State committee,” Hamilton explained to Fox News.

“All efforts to weaponize the federal government against political opponents of the ruling regime should be stopped. We look forward to exposing more records in the coming days.”

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates told Fox News that Americans who identify as religious, serve in the military, or support Trump do not pose a substantial threat to the United States.
