This oyster farmer found himself in hot water after explosive reports revealed his alleged habit of sending explicit messages to multiple women while married.
The panel’s reaction was swift, savage, and dripping with the kind of moral outrage usually reserved for their political opponents.
“It is disturbing; it is horrible. Why can’t we do better? Why can’t we have better candidates?” co-host Ana Navarro said.
“Why do we have to have Ken Paxton in Texas who has got baggage? It’s not even baggage; it’s steamer trunks of ethical questions around him.”
For a party that loves to lecture everyday Americans about decency and standards, this scandal hits especially hard.
Alyssa Farah didn’t hold back, drawing from her own experiences watching candidate quality slip in recent years. She warned that ignoring personal failings comes with real costs.
“As a Republican who sadly watched the quality of candidates we’ve put in office or chosen to run diminish over the last decade, I will tell you that’s it’s not worth it. It’s not worth compromising your morals and values and integrity,” she stated.
“To be honest, his s*xting is the least of my concerns.”
