This country is the weakest it’s been in decades under Biden. And he proves that more and more everyday.
Now President Biden just ordered a humiliating U.S. military retreat.
The U.S. military was forced to remove non-essential personnel from Haiti over the weekend as violent gangs attempted to seize control of the country’s capital, Port-au-Prince.
“At the request of the Department of State, the U.S. military conducted an operation to augment the security of the U.S. Embassy at Port-au-Prince, allow our Embassy mission operations to continue, and enable non-essential personnel to depart,” U.S. Central Command said in a statement.
The unstable island nation is on the verge of collapse after gangs stormed the Port-au-Prince jail, releasing thousands of criminals onto the streets.
The small, impoverished country has been rocked by everything from severe earthquakes to political murder attempts.
The gangs have targeted the country’s principal international airport and police stations, robbed ports and buildings, and disrupted humanitarian relief deliveries.
“The current security situation in Haiti is unpredictable and dangerous,” the U.S. State Department said in a statement.
“We are aware that there are few or no commercial options to depart Haiti safely at this time. As they become available, we urge U.S. citizens to take advantage of them.”
“The U.S. Embassy’s ability to assist U.S. citizens is severely limited,” the statement added.
The Biden administration advised any Americans in Haiti to avoid crowds, maintain a low profile, be prepared to shelter in place for an extended period of time at any time, avoid being outside at night, and monitor local media for information on areas where violence, demonstrations, or disruptions are reported to be occurring.
This isn’t the first time Biden has had a national humiliation on the world stage.
In his first year in office, he oversaw one of the worst military withdrawals we’ve seen from Afghanistan.
During that retreat, 13 American service members were killed along with 169 Afghan civilians in a bombing at Kabul Airport.
Other embassies have been closed, including in Sudan and Belarus.
Meanwhile, emboldened by Biden’s impotence, Putin invaded Ukraine. That war continues to this day with almost half a million soldiers killed or wounded in total according to U.S. estimates.
And who can forget Israel?
Hamas and Israel have been at war for nearly six months now, and Biden is dropping aid airdrops into Palestine.
