Donald Trump’s presidency brought some semblance of stability to the Middle East as far as US involvement goes. But the Biden administration is making a mess of it again.
Now the military’s received bad news out of the Middle East that’s keeping Biden up at night.
One of the biggest pain points for the Biden White House so far has been their failed foreign policy that has led to destabilization in several key regions around the world.
The Afghanistan pullout disaster kicked off Biden’s approval rating skydive and played a major factor in the Taliban gaining control of Afghanistan.
Russia’s war has only been growing hotter with Joe Biden and the Democrats playing proxy war games with the Russians by funding Ukraine with billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars.
And China has been growing louder and louder regarding potentially invading Taiwan, with Biden and the White House giving mixed signals about how they would respond.
Simply put, the Biden admin’s foreign policy is a mess. And Americans know that because the polls indicate that the average voter doesn’t trust Biden and the Democrats on foreign policy issues.
But the issues don’t seem to stop piling up. Now Iran is looking to cause more headaches for the United States.
According to reports, Iran is allegedly planning an attack on Saudi Arabia and the energy production out of the Middle East.
This intel is corroborated between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
The Wall Street Journal reports:
Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the U.S. warning of an imminent attack from Iran on targets in the kingdom, putting the American military and others in the Middle East on an elevated alert level, said Saudi and U.S. officials
In response to the warning, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and several other neighboring states have raised the level of alert for their military forces, the officials said. They didn’t provide more details on the Saudi intelligence.
The White House has responded to the warnings saying they are “prepared” to respond with force if Iran tries to pull of an attack.
What’s particularly interesting about this is that the U.S. relationship with the Saudi’s has become more complicated in recent months with the energy crisis hitting the west.
Some are arguing that this could be an in for the Democrats to start shoving the nose of the U.S. military where it doesn’t belong in the interest of a backdoor deal with the Saudis.
Lately, the Democrats have garnered quite the reputation for being warhawks that want to leverage the politics of war for their own power and gain.
Certainly the war Russia has been waging on Ukraine needs to end, but the Biden admin and the Democrats fanning those flames with American taxpayer dollars hasn’t helped one bit.
If anything, it’s emboldened Russia in it’s campaign to annex Ukraine.
The last thing America needs is another war in the Middle East, especially as we just got to a point where we finally pulled all of our troops out of Afghanistan.
Much of that work was done by the Trump administration, though. Biden and the Democrats might be looking for their way into wartime.
