The White House sent a huge warning to Americans about this home grown threat

America is getting more dangerous for politics. But this needs to be snuffed out quick.

And the White House sent a huge warning to Americans about this home grown threat.

Trump’s Push to Designate Antifa as Terrorists

On September 15, President Donald Trump announced he is considering designating the far-left anti-fascist movement Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, signaling a crackdown on left-wing groups he accuses of inciting violence.

Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump said, “It’s something I would do, yeah,” contingent on support from Cabinet officials and the Justice Department.

He emphasized Antifa’s role, stating, “Antifa is terrible. There are other groups,” and accused them of “getting away with m*rder” without providing specific evidence. Trump also revealed discussions with Attorney General Pam Bondi about pursuing racketeering (RICO) charges against left-wing groups allegedly funding agitators, asserting, “They should be put in jail, what they’re doing to this country is really subversive.”

Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller echoed this, targeting a “network of organizations” like Black Lives Matter for allegedly orchestrating riots, claiming, “The key point the president has been making is somebody is paying for all of this.”

The administration’s plans, which may include revoking tax-exempt status for liberal nonprofits, aim to leverage conservative outrage over Charlie Kirk’s assassination to target political adversaries, with actions potentially starting as early as this week.

Antifa’s Actions Justify Terrorist Label

Trump’s consideration of labeling Antifa a terrorist organization is grounded in the group’s history of violent tactics, which align with domestic terrorism’s definition—acts dangerous to human life intended to intimidate or coerce civilians or influence government policy.

Antifa, a loosely organized movement opposing fascism, has engaged in documented violence, such as the 2017 Berkeley protests where members caused $100,000 in property damage and assaulted individuals, leading to 13 arrests for charges including assault with a deadly weapon.

In 2019, Antifa activists attacked journalist Andy Ngo in Portland, hospitalizing him, highlighting their use of physical force against perceived opponents. The suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Tyler Robinson, etched anti-fascist slogans like “Hey fascist! Catch!” and lyrics from “Bella Ciao” on bullet casings, suggesting ideological alignment with Antifa’s rhetoric, though no direct link to the group has been confirmed.

Trump’s administration argues that Antifa’s “black bloc” tactics—coordinated, masked attacks during protests—constitute a pattern of subversive violence, justifying RICO investigations and a terrorism designation.

This move reflects a response to the Left’s own cancel culture tactics, which have long targeted conservatives for their speech, now facing scrutiny for fostering an environment where violence against figures like Kirk is celebrated or excused.

Left Faces Consequences of Its Own Cancel Culture

The Left’s outrage over Trump’s proposed actions mirrors the cancel culture they have wielded against conservatives, now redirected to expose their role in enabling political violence.

For years, left-leaning activists have pressured employers, schools, and platforms to de-platform or fire individuals for expressing conservative views, often labeling them as hate speech to justify repercussions.

Trump’s plan to target Antifa and similar groups flips this script, holding accountable those whose rhetoric or actions, like celebrating Kirk’s death, contribute to a climate of violence. Democrats, such as Gov. Tim Walz’s spokesperson Teddy Tschann, who said, “Governor Walz wishes that President Trump would be a President for all Americans,” have criticized Trump’s moves as suppressing dissent.

Yet, the administration’s focus on Antifa’s documented violence—coupled with Bondi’s broader pledge to target hate speech “across the aisle,” citing attacks on both Kirk and Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro—parallels the Left’s tactic of demanding consequences for objectionable speech.

By pursuing legal measures like RICO charges or tax-exempt revocations, Trump’s administration is applying the Left’s playbook against them, exposing the hypocrisy of those who decry “free speech violations” when their own tactics are used to curb subversive acts.
