This Democrat megadonor was exposed for backroom deals with this foreign enemy

The money running through the Democrat Party is anything but clean. But it may be even worse than previously imagined.

And now this Democrat megadonor was exposed for backroom deals with this foreign enemy.

The now disgraced Biden campaign, along with several other Democratic politicians and committees, have been forced to freeze or return donations from an Indian national who allegedly conned a foreign businessman by pretending to have ties to the CIA, swindling him out of millions of dollars.

Gaurav Srivastava, who funneled over $1 million to Democratic causes — including to the now-defunct campaign of the 81-year-old president — allegedly duped a prominent Dutch trader into a fraudulent business partnership, promising him access to trade in sanctioned-Russian oil.

The Wall Street Journal broke the story on Tuesday.

Srivastava reportedly pressured Niels Troost, the founder of Paramount Energy & Commodities SA, to sell him half of his company, lend him $51 million through an Indonesian intermediary, and relocate his Switzerland-based firm to the U.S. as part of a scheme that Srivastava claimed was backed by his supposed “boss” at the CIA.

“He never showed what the money was being spent on,” Troost revealed to the Wall Street Journal.

It seems that money was being channeled straight into the pockets of Democrats.

Federal Election Commission records show that Srivastava donated $500,000 to the Senate Majority PAC, which supports Democratic candidates, ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

The Journal further reports that this green-card-holding college dropout also contributed over $200,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in the same year, along with making five-figure donations to campaign committees for Reps. Pat Ryan (D-NY) and Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.).

In 2023, Srivastava didn’t stop.

He donated nearly $290,000 to the DCCC, maxed out his individual contribution to the Biden campaign, and handed over an additional $50,000 to the Biden Victory Fund.

The plot thickened when Project Brazen, the media group that first exposed Srivastava’s bogus CIA connections, uncovered a photo of the alleged scammer meeting with President Biden himself.

But it wasn’t just Biden benefiting from Srivastava’s dirty money.

Disgraced ex-Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Sens. Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) also received funds from him.

Even the Atlantic Council, a DC-based think tank, wasn’t spared — Srivastava funded a $1 million food-security conference in Bali where Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) appeared in a video discussing the food crisis.

Politico reported earlier this year that both the Biden campaign and the DCCC had frozen Srivastava’s donations — riddled with fictitious personal details — after news of his alleged scam began to surface.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Srivastava’s fraudulent activities are now under investigation by the FBI.

Lawyers for Srivastava have denied the allegations, but the damage to the Democrats’ coffers — and their credibility — has already been done.
