CNN is usually a propaganda arm for the radical Left. But even they couldn’t deny the truth this time.
Because what was just revealed about Joe Biden left all of CNN in utter disbelief.
It’s no secret that the Joe Biden re-election campaign efforts look bleak to say the least.
His approval ratings have long been underwater and now sit anywhere between the high 30s and the high 20s, depending on who who ask.
That’s a recipe for disaster for any incumbent politician seeking re-election against any solid opponent.
But Biden’s chances are looking even worse according to recent polls.
A new Washington Post/ABC poll has shown that Joe Biden is bleeding support from his own base faster than he ever thought.
The new poll demonstrated that north of 58% of Democrats and Democrat-likely voters want the Democrats to run someone else other than Joe Biden for President.
“In the first real snapshot, if you will, of President Biden’s standing since his reelection announcement, voters are saying he has real work to do,” a CNN host said about the poll.
“And that’s even among his own party.”
Furthermore, his overall approval rating continues to be flat-out difficult to swallow for the Democrat party and his remaining supporters.
“Biden’s overall approval rating remains underwater,” CNN host Kate Bolduan added. “That’s the lowest for any American president at this point in their first term. That’s dating back to Harry Truman.”
The news only gets worse for Joe Biden, however.
When the polled individuals were asked who they’d vote for in a Donald Trump and Joe Biden rematch of the 2020 election, Donald Trump carried a 7 point advantage at 45-38 over Joe Biden.
The CNN reporter, Arlette Saenz, argued that his declining mental capacity is clearly a major factor for many Americans at this point.
“If you look at this poll, only 32 percent of voters said that the president, who is 80 years old, has the mental sharpness to serve effectively,” Saenz noted.
As other outlets have pointed out, Joe Biden has offered the fewest number of press conferences since the Ronald Reagan administration.
What’s important to keep in mind is that before the 2000s, press conferences were way more rare for a variety of reasons – technology being one of them.
So Joe Biden offering fewer press conferences than Ronald Reagan, who did in fact have Alzheimer’s during his entire time in office in the 80s, is not a good look.
But Americans aren’t clueless. They see the writing on the wall for Joe Biden and don’t want to support him for a second term.
