The Biden regime doesn’t know what to do. They’ve been left to pick up the pieces.
Because this White House resignation news has shocked the nation.
The news that national defense secretary Lloyd Austin was hospitalized due to increasing complications with a battle against prostate cancer, was disturbing.
What made the news even worse was the revelation that Lloyd Austin lied to Joe Biden and everyone else in the Biden administration by not telling anyone that he had an existing case of cancer.
In the wake of this all, conservatives in Washington, D.C. immediately started calling for Lloyd Austin to step down for a whole host of reasons, the least of which isn’t the fact that he deceived the President of the United States.
Now even Democrats are piling on to call for the resignation of Lloyd Austin.
Following revelations that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had disguised his hospitalization, a previous operation, and a cancer diagnosis for weeks, Democrat Pennsylvania Representative Chris Deluzio demanded his resignation on Wednesday.
Despite worries from senior Democrats about the lack of openness and its ramifications for national security, House Armed Services Committee member Deluzio is the first Democrat to explicitly call for Austin’s dismissal. Although he did not reveal the cause for his hospitalization or the specifics of the initial procedure until the afternoon of January 5, Austin did not inform Congress of his hospitalization on January 1 due to complications from a scheduled operation on December 22 and his ending up in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) subsequently.
In a statement, Deluzio expressed his disillusionment with Secretary Lloyd Austin’s management of the Defense Department, citing the lack of transparency around his prior medical treatments and how it affected the continuity of command.
“I have a solemn duty in Congress to conduct oversight of the Defense Department through my service on the House Armed Services Committee. That duty today requires me to call on Secretary Austin to resign,” Deluzio said.

After undergoing elective surgery for prostate cancer on December 22, Austin was brought to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in an ambulance on January 1. On January 2, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit to alleviate the terrible discomfort that had been plaguing him since then. It was not until late on January 5 that Congress was informed of Austin’s hospitalization, one day after the president, the deputy secretary of defense, and top national security officials were briefed.
On Tuesday afternoon, Montana Republican Rep. Matt Rosendale submitted articles of impeachment against Austin. New York House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, and Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton are among the prominent Republicans who have demanded that Austin resign.
Just dropped off articles of impeachment against Defense Sec. Lloyd Austin.
The pattern of misinformation and lies he has provided to the American people are a serious threat to our national security and cannot be tolerated.

His resignation has not been officially requested by Senate Armed Services Committee ranking Republican Roger Wicker of Mississippi or Representative Mike Rogers of Alabama.
Washington Democrat Adam Smith, who is also the committee’s ranking member, released a statement on Sunday with the House Republican leader demanding oversight.
“While we wish Sec. Austin a speedy recovery, we are concerned with how the disclosure of the Secretary’s condition was handled,” the two Representatives wrote. “Transparency is vitally important. Sec. Austin must provide these additional details on his health and the decision-making process that occurred in the past week as soon as possible.”
Recently, Austin said that he could have been more transparent about his hospitalization. He reportedly failed to reveal his first cancer diagnosis in early December, which led to the operation to cure the malignancy and subsequent readmission to the hospital.
This development is awful news for the Joe Biden administration as many Americans were already extremely concerned that the Biden regime has not been entirely forthcoming about the health of some of those serving the White House, especially President Biden himself.
The fact that Lloyd Austin lied to his colleagues and that the American people were ultimately lied to makes everyone wonder what else is being kept from the public.
