The Democrat Party is unraveling. They can’t keep it together any longer.
Because a Democrat went on Fox News and stunned everyone with what he admitted about Joe Biden.
There’s a very real shift in the way the Democrat Party is operating in modern American politics, and it’s nothing anyone could have expected.
For the past few decades, Democrats have been very good at defending each other up until the end, no matter what. If there’s a problem, just gloss over it. If there’s corruption, just point the finger elsewhere. If there’s any bad press, just move on.
Hillary Clinton embodied this approach that has characterized those within the Democrat Party. She was the darling of the Left and supposed to be future of the Democrat control of American politics and institutions. Instead, her loss to Donald Trump in 2016 may have been the trigger that’s led to the shift in how some Democrats are treating the Party at large now.
Just take a look at what a top Democrat has said about the de-facto leader of the Democrat party, Joe Biden, live on television on Fox News.
President Joe Biden needs to undertake “a major course correction” before November, according to a former senior attorney for the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, who claimed on Monday that his party’s “elites” were “out of touch” on the issue of immigration.
Illegal immigration has emerged as a prominent topic in the 2024 presidential race. Former House Judiciary Committee general counsel Julian Epstein issued a warning to Democrats that they were neglecting “a strong majority” of American citizens on the illegal immigration issue.
Epstein said to Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, “I think that Democratic elites are out of touch with the public on the question of immigration.”
“Americans are for legal immigration, Americans are very much against illegal immigration. If you look at the polling on this, New York Times and Pew and you’re just going down the line with multiple polls, 70 to 80% of the American public disapprove of Biden’s immigration policies, what has effectively been open borders.”
The RealClearPolling average of surveys conducted between February 8 and March 5 shows that just 30.6% of Americans support Biden’s immigration policies. Democrats have called for Biden to take action against Texas in response to Republican Governor Greg Abbott’s efforts to halt illegal border crossings, even going so far as to demand that Biden takeover command of the National Guard, while Republicans have called for increased border enforcement.
“Just look at the Democratic strongholds in cities across the country, they’re going through meltdowns experiencing just a small thimbleful of what the border states have had to experience,” Epstein added. “I think Biden’s strategy on this has been to blame the Republicans, blame Trump and then come out, as he probably will this week or next week, with half-steps, with executive orders on immigration, and that dog just won’t hunt.”
After being questioned by Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, Biden apologized for referring to the suspected murderer of 22-year-old Laken Riley as an “illegal” during Thursday’s State of the Union speech. The University of Georgia police detained and charged Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela who entered the country unlawfully, with Riley’s murder on February 23.
By a vote of 50-49 on February 7, the Senate declined to call for cloture on a move to start discussion on legislation that would combine border security and international aid, which had been proposed by Republican Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma, Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut, and Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. In a speech in Brownsville, Texas on February 29, Biden blamed Republicans for the deal’s failure to pass, despite the fact that he had already undone several programs put in place by former President Donald Trump during his early days in office.
According to Epstein, “President Biden has the authority to close the borders today. It’s what the very strong majorities of the American people want and he can do it with a stroke of a pen. He should do it.”
Epstein isn’t the only high-profile Democrat speaking out about Joe Biden’s failure to get the illegal immigration crisis under control either.
Recently, former Democrat Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo said that the immigration crisis is the “biggest” mistake he’s ever seen the American government make in his entire life time.
Cuomo said the blame has to start with the White House and the federal government, currently led by Joe Biden, even though there are many factors involved.
