Greg Abbott stuns everyone with this border border wall news

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has had it with Joe Biden’s failures to secure the border. He’s taking matters into his own hands.

And now Greg Abbott has stunned everyone with this border wall security news.

Ask the average American what the biggest issue and failure of the Biden administration has been and you’ll likely hear a common theme.

The erosion of the American economy and the security of the southern border causing illegal immigration to grow completely out of control.

Americans are simply sick of the Washington, D.C. bureaucrats refusing to lift a finger to make the American more safe by securing the southern border and curbing the violent crime that comes with illegal immigration.

The immigration issue is also one that Joe Biden scores very poorly on with Republican and Independent voters alike.

Republican Governors in the southern states like Florida’s Ron DeSantis and Texas’ Greg Abbott know this and have been working tirelessly to do what they can to secure their citizens from the immigration madness.

Greg Abbott, in particular, has his work cut out for him as Texas is right there on the border of Mexico and takes the brunt of the problems that come with criminals who seek to enter into the States illegally.

So what is Greg Abbott doing? He’s building a wall. Who would’ve thought of that? Work on a border wall in Eagle Pass, Texas has now started.

In an effort to reduce the amount of illegal immigrants crossing the border in the Eagle Pass, Texas, area, construction crews began installing a floating border barrier on Monday.

Construction personnel have begun installing parts of floating buoys that are meant to “deter unlawful crossings & human smuggling” and “prevent the loss of life,” as Lt. Chris Olivarez, spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety, tweeted.

Breitbart News reports that the buoys will be placed in waters where many migrants have lately drowned while attempting to get into the United States illegally.

In the 48 hours prior to the construction of the new barrier, four migrants perished while trying to cross the Rio Grande. Breitbart reports that the bodies were retrieved by the Texas DPS Tactical Marine Unit and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The Abbott administration previously announced that they’d be implementing a buoy system to help prevent anyone from risking their life to illegally enter the United States.

Eagle Pass inhabitants and those who made the trip from Laredo, Texas, joined together to protest the arrival of the buoys on Friday.

The barrier’s installation was mandated by Governor Abbott and funded by the state legislature.

The buoys are the newest effort to secure the U.S.-Mexico border after a record number of migrants crossed into the U.S. since President Joe Biden took office, despite the extreme heat in Texas. Most of these people come from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s ability to deport illegal aliens back to Mexico has been criticized by Abbott and other Republicans who blame Biden for ending the procedures put in place by Trump.

Last month, Abbott stated, “Washington, D.C., has failed to do [its] job to secure the border,” in announcing the maritime barrier. “Due to the crisis caused by the [Biden] administration at the border, Texas has had to take unprecedented steps and [respond].”

The fact of the matter is that the Greg Abbott is actually trying to preserve the lives of anyone who is trying to cross the border illegally. He doesn’t want to watch anyone perish at all.

But he also wants people to respect American and Texan sovereignty by deterring them as much as possible by making it as hard as possible to enter into Texas illegally.

The DC Daily Journal will keep you updated on any news from the Abbott administration on their border wall and immigration policy.
