The president has been compromised. He can’t be trusted anymore.
Because Joe Biden let a Muslim terrorist do the unthinkable at the U.S. southern border.
A radical Muslim terrorist was apprehended by federal officials at the U.S. southern border and subsequently allowed to remain in the nation. He was able to walk freely for over a year before being apprehended in Minnesota a few days ago, according to an insider federal memo.
According to the memo, the individual in question was released soon after being apprehended for illegally crossing the southern border near San Ysidro, California in March of last year. The memo does not identify the individual by name, but does state that they are members of the Somali terror group Al-Shabaab. The Terrorist Screening Center “deemed him a ‘mismatch'” after reviewing the information, as stated in the document that was submitted to ICE officers.
According to the document, however, the Terrorist Screening Center “made a redetermination” on January 18, 2024, that the person in question was “a confirmed member of al-Shabaab” and had ties to the production, usage, or transportation of explosives or weapons. In Minneapolis, Minnesota, two days after that, the Al-Shabaab member was apprehended by ICE.
In fiscal year 2023, 172 individuals on terror watchlists were apprehended by the Border Patrol while trying to enter the United States illegally. According to ex-officials from the department of homeland security, criminals are finding it easier to enter the nation due to the continual influx of illegal immigrants along the southern border.
John Fabbricatore, a former field director of ICE who currently serves on the board of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE), informed media reporters that “many within the Biden administration, including Secretary Mayorkas, have repeatedly assured us that the vetting process at the border is comprehensive and complete.”
Nevertheless, disturbingly, there are cases where terrorists are given free reign to traverse the U.S. for months following their release from the border, allowing their criminal and terrorist records to remain hidden.
Suspected terrorists attempting to breach the southern border illegally are being apprehended at an alarming rate. According to government records, between October and December of last year, Border Patrol officers detained 50 individuals who were listed as being on the terror watchlist. To put that in perspective, from FY 2017 and FY 2020, a grand total of 30 such occasions occurred.
“Our safety is dependent on enforcing our immigration laws and securing the border,” stated Fabbricatore, a congresssional candidate, in response to the dire scenario facing the country.
There is a lot of pressure on federal officials to process individuals fast because of the mass discharges of illegal aliens under the Biden administration.
People have been allowed to go free before subject records have been returned after a thorough investigation. An anonymous former Border Patrol agent currently working for ICE said that this would prevent the appropriate processing and placement of a possible terrorist once the findings were known.
According to Fabbricatore, the time it takes for background checks to get results is typically far longer than the 72 hours that Border Patrol may keep migrants in custody.
“The overburdening of the Border Patrol with the excessive amounts of illegal border crossers has forced faster processing times, which doesn’t allow for a more vigorous initial investigation into a migrants background. The background checks currently being run only initially search out criminal history in the United States, not outside its borders. It could take days, weeks, or months to connect derogatory information coming from other databases,” Fabbricatore stated.
According to current estimates, 860,000 people entered the nation illegally in 2023.
“Many within the Biden administration, including Secretary Mayorkas, have repeatedly assured us that the vetting process at the border is comprehensive and complete,” asserted Fabbricatore, who is also running for Congress. But disturbingly, there are still cases where terrorists are allowed to traverse the U.S. freely for months following their release from the border, before their criminal and terrorist records are revealed. “Our safety is dependent on enforcing our immigration laws and securing the border,” Fabbricatore stated, emphasizing that the situation is putting our nation at grave risk.
From 2008 onward, the United States government has viewed Al-Shabaab as an international terrorist group. The National Counterterrorism Center reports that this terrorist organization is based in Somalia and has carried out assaults in neighboring countries including Kenya and Uganda.
In response to a request from the Somali government, U.S. forces carried out a self-defense air attack on January 21st, killing three members of the Al-Shabaab terrorist group.
National Counterterrorism Center reports that Al-Shabaab has executed peace advocates, foreign aid workers, journalists, and a slew of other civil society members in Somalia, in addition to carrying out bombs and suicide assaults. In 2013, 67 people were killed in an attack on Nairobi’s Westgate mall by the terror organization. In 2017, hundreds of civilians were killed in two suicide strikes in Mogadishu.
“Securing the border and enforcing our immigration laws are absolutely necessary to ensure our safety,” Fabbricatore stated.
