People everywhere in this nation are feeling the consequences of Joe Biden’s actions. But none is more insulting than this.
And outrage is mounting after Biden sold out Americans to foreigners.
Americans are the last people on the Democrat Party’s collective mind, apparently.
It doesn’t matter that inflation is still not under control and is eating away at people’s pay checks.
It doesn’t matter that mortgage rates are high and people can’t afford to pay rent let alone buy a home.
And it doesn’t matter that our country is being overrun by millions of illegal aliens.
Instead of worrying about the home-front, Biden has spent billions shipping weapons to Ukraine for an endless proxy war with Russia – a war Ukraine is losing slowly.
Meanwhile, we seem to be funding both Hamas with humanitarian aid and Israel with military supplies – we’re paying for both sides, people.
What does Biden do in response to all of this? He’s handing even more money to foreigners. But it’s the ones who are making our southern border a playground.
President Biden’s administration on Friday announced a new policy of opening Obamacare health insurance markets to persons who entered illegally in the United States as minors and have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.
The measure, which has been pending since last year, is expected to improve access to insurance and federal subsidies for some 100,000 uninsured DACA recipients, perhaps softening the impact to pro-immigrant groups if Biden attempts to restrict record-high illegal immigration before the November 5 election.
“This landmark final rule will make DACA recipients eligible for the Affordable Care Act coverage for the first time. It is projected to help more than 100,000 DACA recipients gain coverage,” an administration official said on a press call.
“By providing new opportunities for quality, affordable care healthcare, this rule will give DACA recipients that peace of mind and opportunity that every American deserves.”
After the DREAM Act failed to pass the Senate in 2012, then-President Barack Obama established the DACA program, which provides qualifying applicants with deportation protection and work permits.
In 2017, President Donald Trump attempted to end DACA while urging Congress to enact a comparable scheme. The Supreme Court overruled him in 2020.
As of last year, there were fewer than 600,000 DACA recipients, down from over 700,000 at its peak.
Immigration is one of the 81-year-old Biden’s biggest vulnerabilities in his upcoming rematch with Trump, who has promised to launch a huge deportation effort following record illegal immigration under Biden.
Under Biden, most immigrants who illegally cross the Mexican border are allowed to enter the United States to seek asylum, which Republicans believe encourages others to follow suit.
Shortly after taking office, Biden suspended construction of Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall and ended the “Remain in Mexico” policy, which compelled asylum claimants to wait for decisions on their claims of persecution south of the border.
The DACA benefits expansion comes as reports suggest that Biden may aim to display a harsher stance to the border, with polling showing the issue as a big election liability.
But we’ll see if that ever happens.
