Trump calls out Republican Senator for a lack of loyalty

RINOs are a major problem. But Trump is done playing around.

And now Trump called out a Republican Senator for a lack of loyalty.

Trump Holds the Line on Loyalty and America First Priorities

President Donald Trump did not mince words when he labeled Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) a “very disloyal person” and openly called on Louisiana voters to replace him in the upcoming Republican primary.

The sharp rebuke came after Cassidy, who chairs the Senate Health committee, played a key role in stalling and ultimately derailing the confirmation of Trump’s Surgeon General nominee Dr. Casey Means — a strong “Make America Healthy Again” advocate backed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Calling Out Past Betrayal and Current Obstruction

In a pointed Truth Social post, Trump reminded voters that Cassidy owes his Senate seat in part to a Trump endorsement, yet later voted to impeach him over what has since been widely viewed as a hoax and political scam. Trump wrote:

“For months, Senator Bill Cassidy (of the GREAT State of Louisiana!), a very disloyal person whose ‘TRUMP’ Endorsement got him elected, but later voted to impeach ‘President Trump’ on what has now proven to be a total Hoax and Scam, has stood in the way of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Nominee, Casey Means, for the important position of U.S. Surgeon General.”

Trump accused the senator of playing “political games” and prioritizing Washington insiders and donors over advancing bold health reforms aimed at tackling chronic disease and restoring American vitality.

Means’ brother, Calley Means, a White House advisor, echoed the frustration, describing Cassidy as a defender of the “status quo system that is profiting from American sickness.”

Despite the roadblocks, Trump quickly pivoted by nominating Dr. Nicole Saphier — a respected physician praised as a “STAR” for her work on early cancer detection and prevention — showing his commitment to putting qualified, results-oriented leaders in critical health roles.

Time for Louisiana to Choose Real Allegiance

Trump made his position crystal clear, urging the “Great Republican People of Louisiana” — a state he carried decisively multiple times — to vote Cassidy out in the primary. With strong America First challengers like Rep. Julia Letlow already in the race and earning Trump’s endorsement, the message is unmistakable: loyalty to the voters and to the movement that delivered historic victories matters more than cozy committee power or old grudges.

This latest episode highlights Trump’s consistent willingness to rally the base against establishment holdouts who undermine key priorities, whether on health freedom, border security, or draining the swamp. While some in the Senate may prefer endless delays and donor-friendly inertia, Trump continues fighting to deliver real change — and he’s asking Louisiana patriots to send a clear signal that disloyalty to the America First agenda will no longer be tolerated.

The primary offers voters a straightforward choice: stick with recycled Washington games or back fighters who actually support the agenda that made America stronger.
