The FBI is full of corruption. But the Trump admin is looking to change that.
And the FBI director threw these agents to the curb after they were exposed for a spying scheme.
In a move that’s shaking Washington to its core, new FBI Director Kash Patel has taken swift action against rogue elements within the bureau. He’s fired agents who tracked phone calls of eight Republican senators and one congressman during Jack Smith’s witch hunt against President Donald Trump. This revelation hits like a thunderbolt, exposing the lengths to which the Biden-era DOJ went to spy on political opponents.
The scandal centers on communication records from key GOP figures. These include Senators Lindsey Graham from South Carolina, Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty from Tennessee, Ron Johnson from Wisconsin, Josh Hawley from Missouri, Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming, Dan Sullivan from Alaska, and Tommy Tuberville from Alabama.
Also targeted was Representative Mike Kelly from Pennsylvania. Their phone data was subpoenaed from major carriers in 2023 and funneled to Smith’s so-called “Arctic Frost” team, per Breitbart News.
For months, this intrusive surveillance stayed buried from public view. It only came to light this week when Patel uncovered the files stashed away in a secretive digital hideout. He described it as a “lockbox” tucked into a “vault” within a “cyber place where no one can see or search these files.”
Patel, drawing on his firsthand knowledge from battling the Russiagate hoax, knew exactly how to unearth these hidden gems. In a fiery Tuesday interview on Fox News, he laid it all out: “You put it in there when you want to hide it from the world, and that takes the authorization of the attorney general and the director of the FBI.”
The director emphasized how this discovery unmasks the weaponization of law enforcement under the previous regime. “So not only did they weaponize this law enforcement, but when we got in there, and when I got in as the FBI director, from my experience as Russiagate, I knew where to look and what rooms to open and what doors to kick down, and that’s what we did.” Patel’s no-nonsense approach is a breath of fresh air for Americans tired of deep state games.
He went further, declaring, “We found this information to expose the politicization by Jack Smith and the prior Department of Justice.” And Patel isn’t stopping at exposure—he’s delivering real consequences. He revealed that he terminated the agents responsible for these covert operations.
In his own words: “I mean, just think about it, eight sitting United States senators. Phone records were gathered and subpoenaed through the grand jury process, and it was buried and wormholed. It was the hope that no one would find it. So we’re just scratching the surface here, but accountability is coming.”
“You’re darn right. I fired those agents. You’re darn right. I blew up CR-15, the public corruption squad that led the weaponization at the Washington Field Office. We’re just warming up, but we are running our investigations to the ground. We are finding every single person involved. We will not leave a single room locked.”
This cleanup operation marks a turning point. For too long, the FBI has been riddled with partisans who twist justice to target conservatives. Patel’s firings send a clear message: no more hiding behind badges while undermining elected officials who fight for the people.
Senator Josh Hawley, one of the victims in this spying scheme, didn’t hold back in his response. He blasted Smith’s subpoena as “an abuse of power beyond Watergate, beyond J. Edgar Hoover, one that directly strikes at the Constitution, the separation of powers, and the First Amendment.” Hawley’s outrage echoes what many Americans feel about this blatant overreach.
On X, Hawley demanded action: “We need a full investigation of all involved: who knew about it, who ordered it, and who approved it. Anyone and everyone who violated the law must be prosecuted. The way to save the country is to restore the rule of law.”
This isn’t just about phone records—it’s a direct assault on the heart of the republic. Spying on lawmakers who dared to challenge the establishment smacks of authoritarian tactics. The Biden DOJ’s obsession with Trump led them to trample on congressional independence, all in the name of a partisan vendetta.
Meanwhile, the heat is turning up on Jack Smith himself. Back in August, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel launched a probe into his actions, suspecting he unlawfully zeroed in on Trump. This development, reported by Breitbart News, adds fuel to the fire of scrutiny surrounding his entire operation.
Patel’s revelations pull back the curtain on a system rigged against conservatives. By firing those agents and dismantling corrupt units like CR-15, he’s starting to drain the swamp for real.
The list of targeted senators reads like a who’s who of strong conservative voices.
As this story unfolds, expect more heads to roll. Patel’s promise to leave no room locked means the hunt for culprits is just beginning. This could be the catalyst for a massive overhaul, restoring faith in institutions that have lost their way under years of leftist influence.
