Hillary Clinton goes off on this big-time Hollywood actor

Clinton and Hollywood are usually in lockstep. But not this time.

And Hillary Clinton went off on this big-time Hollywood actor.

Hillary Clinton just could not help herself. She decided to lecture Matthew McConaughey after he urged people to look past the broken two-party machine and give Independents a real shot.

Clinton framed the midterms as some kind of last stand against Trump.

She told Kara Swisher it was “really unfortunate” that a popular actor would dare suggest Independents might offer something better.

In her exact words: “I think it’s really unfortunate that somebody who’s such a great actor with such a reach would be two weeks before a midterm that is aimed at stopping Trump’s corruption, impunity and extreme damage to the country would suggest that any independent candidate is really a better choice.”

She kept going. Clinton insisted Democrats already cover the full spectrum of American life.

“Right now, we have a broad range of Democrats running, and Democrats are representing, I think, every kind of American in these elections,” she stated.

Then came the usual scare line: “And we know, I mean, it’s just a fact. We know that if we don’t vote for Democrats to defeat Republicans, then Trump will have two more unchecked years to do whatever he wants to our country.”

This is the same Hillary Clinton who lost to Donald Trump in 2016 and watched her party lose the White House again in 2024.

Now she is out warning that any deviation from straight-ticket Democratic voting will hand the country over to chaos.

The message is clear: stay in line, trust the professionals, and treat every Independent as a spoiler.

McConaughey’s simple call for people to consider candidates outside the usual brands apparently crossed a line.

Hollywood stars are supposed to stick to approved talking points, not encourage voters to think for themselves.

Clinton’s reaction shows how little patience the old guard has for anyone who questions the duopoly.
