Iranian-American lawmaker just executed an awful attack against Pete Hegseth

America is divided. And the enemies are from within.

Now an Iranian-American lawmaker just executed an awful attack against Pete Hegseth.

Partisan Impeachment Push Targets Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth

House Democrats, led by an Iranian-American lawmaker, have filed articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth just months into his tenure.

The move, introduced on April 15, 2026, by Rep. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona along with a dozen left-wing co-sponsors, focuses on the recent conflict with Iran, oversight disputes, and other allegations.

With Republicans firmly in control of the House, the effort stands virtually no chance of advancing—but it signals Democrats’ intent to obstruct the Trump administration’s national security agenda at every turn.

Accusations Center on Iran Conflict and Leadership Decisions

Rep. Ansari, whose parents are Iranian immigrants, leveled strong claims against Hegseth:

“Pete Hegseth broke his oath to the Constitution, put U.S. troops at grave risk through the unauthorized disclosure of classified information, engaged in abuse of office and conduct beneath the dignity of his office, and carried out unlawful military actions despite his obligation to refuse — including strikes on civilians and a girls’ school in Minab, Iran. Hegseth’s conduct meets the threshold of high crimes and misdemeanors and warrants immediate removal by Congress.”

Among the co-sponsors is the chamber’s sole transgender lawmaker, Rep. Sarah McBride (D-Del.).

The articles accuse Hegseth of violating the law of armed conflict, reckless handling of information, obstruction of oversight, abuse of power, and actions that brought disrepute to the armed forces.

Critics view the filing as a politically motivated attack on a secretary who has prioritized decisive action and military readiness over endless bureaucratic debate.

Hegseth’s Record of Reform and Strong Defense Underscores the Distraction

Pentagon spokesperson Kingsley Wilson quickly pushed back, calling the effort a transparent political stunt:

“This is just another Democrat trying to make headlines as the Department of War decisively and overwhelmingly achieved the President’s objectives in Iran. Secretary Hegseth will continue to protect the homeland and project peace through strength. This is just another charade in an attempt to distract the American people from the major successes we have had here at the Department of War.”

Under Hegseth’s leadership, the Pentagon has moved aggressively to eliminate “woke” policies—including diversity, equity, and inclusion mandates—and banned transgender service members.

These reforms have helped drive recruitment to levels “not seen in more than a decade,” strengthening America’s warfighting edge at a critical time. While Democrats pursue symbolic impeachment gestures, Hegseth remains focused on restoring a lean, lethal military capable of deterring adversaries and protecting U.S. interests—priorities that resonate with those who value peace through strength over partisan grandstanding.
