Megyn Kelly smacks Kamala Harris across the face with reality check

The election is just six weeks away. But Vice President Harris is making a critical mistake.

And Megyn Kelly just smacked Kamala Harris across the face with this huge reality check.

Softball interviews are what Democrat Presidential candidates are used to at this point. They refuse to be put on the spot by anyone who isn’t already on their bandwagon, as is evident in the fact that Kamala Harris has only given sit-down interviews to CNN and MSNBC. Not only that, but she has said she will never do a debate with Donald Trump on Fox News. She only wants the company of allies in CNN, ABC, or MSNBC.

In her recent MSNBC interview with Stephanie Ruhle, Kamala Harris faltered numerous times when trying to field super simple and clear questions. Her answers to some of the questions given to her were just odd, to say the least. She often dodged the questions by just going off on personal life details that don’t address anything at all.

In the interview with Stephanie Ruhle, Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized her middle-class upbringing while discussing her economic plan for the upcoming election. However, SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly sharply criticized Harris’ remarks, arguing that the vice president focused too much on her personal background instead of addressing pressing issues impacting Americans today.

During the interview, Harris repeatedly referenced her mother’s hard work and their middle-class life, stating, “My mother raised my sister and me, she worked hard.” Kelly expressed frustration with this narrative, saying, “No one gives a sh*t about your mother, they care about themselves. Stop talking about your mother and start talking about the people who are actually suffering.”

Kelly further dissected Harris’ economic vision, highlighting the lack of detailed solutions. “So my vision for the economy is let’s deal with some of the everyday challenges that people face and address them with common sense solutions,” Harris stated. But Kelly found the proposed solutions lacking, pointing out that Harris briefly mentioned affordable housing without offering concrete plans, criticizing her $25,000 tax break for first-time home buyers as too narrow in scope. “If you’ve already owned a home you’re effed,” Kelly quipped.

This isn’t the first time Harris has drawn on her upbringing to frame her economic policy. In a recent interview with 6ABC Philadelphia, she similarly referred to her middle-class roots while attempting to address how she plans to make life more affordable for Americans.

For a top presidential candidate like Harris, particularly in a tight general election season, dodging direct answers on key economic issues could be politically damaging. Voters expect concrete plans, and vague or personal responses may be seen as out of touch with their immediate concerns. In such a high-stakes race, failure to adequately address the public’s needs can significantly harm a candidate’s chances of securing broader support.

Kamala Harris Mocked For Blatant Dodging And Weird Answers

At one point in Kamala Harris’s interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, Kamala Harris went on this odd rant about housing affordability, liberally employing the word holistically over and over as if she just learned that word and wanted to use it in an interview.

“Looking holistically at the connection between that and housing and looking holistically at the incentives we in the federal government can create for local and state governments to actually engage in planning in a holistic manner that includes prioritizing affordable housing,” Kamala Harris said.

When asked by Ruhle what she would say to Americans who are concerned that her far-Left plans don’t “include” them, Vice President Harris just went on a rant about how if you’re a hard-working American you’re “in” her plan, whatever that means.

That answer does next to nothing for the millions upon millions of blue-collar workers across the country, including a ton of union workers, who are backing Donald Trump because they simply don’t believe Kamala’s economic plans make any sense whatsoever.

Probably the most concerning answer Kamala Harris gave in that interview that should concern undecided voters came from when she was asked about what she would do if the Republican Party controls the U.S. Senate and she can’t raise corporate taxes or pass a bill for her government handouts.

Her answer? Well, “we have to” raise corporate taxes. So she had no answer at all to provide. She doesn’t know what she’ll do if she doesn’t get her way. Which should be concerning because it makes you wonder what she’ll try to do to get her way with the power of the executive branch.
