The world of politics is becoming increasingly more dangerous. Violence seems to be at every corner these days.
And the RNC headquarters is under attack after receiving a deadly package.
On Wednesday morning the unthinkable happened as the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) headquarters were placed under a lockdown after a disturbing package was sent to them.
The package was addressed to former President Donald Trump and it contained two small bottles of blood, according to reports from the New York Post.

At the time this article is being written, there is no word on who the blood belongs to.
Thankfully no injuries occurred as a result of the lockdown.
A hazmat unit did respond to the scene and staff members at the RNC headquarters, which is located in Washington, D.C., had to vacate the building for around an hour.
According to Capitol Police, the package “was cleared by our Hazardous Incident Response Division.”
“The source of the package and its contents will be further investigated.”
At about 9:40 am that morning, employees were given an “all clear” and allowed back into the building, according to what sources said to the New York Post.
Obviously Trump doesn’t reside at the RNC headquarters, but he has plenty of allies and family who are working within the RNC.
His daughter-in-law, Lara Trump took the position of co-chair of the committee back in March.
The former president’s adviser, Chris LaCivita, is also leading RNC employees to help get Trump reelected in November.
Some of those employees have been working at the headquarters in D.C. to accomplish this goal.
Thankfully the two vials of blood turned out to be a non-threat.
It’s puzzling as to why they were addressed to Donald Trump in the first place, but hopefully it was simply an asinine prank.
However, an incident like this is sure to put Trump’s Secret Service protection on high alert.
With an important presidential election coming up, the former president has countless enemies who want to see his downfall.
And some of these enemies are willing to go to the extreme to make sure that downfall happens.
