The FBI has rotted to its core under Joe Biden. Not everyone is willing to stand for it.
And now Trump aired out the FBI’s dirty laundry and all hell is breaking loose.
Going On The Offensive
Former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back in his sharp criticism of FBI Director Christopher Wray, accusing him of “lying to Congress” regarding his awareness of President Biden’s noticeable decline in cognitive and physical health.
Trump demanded Wray “resign immediately” for his failure to acknowledge what many perceive as obvious.
Trump’s frustration erupted following Wray’s testimony to the House Judiciary Committee, where Wray claimed he rarely meets with the 81-year-old president and has not observed any significant deterioration in Biden’s faculties.
“I don’t meet with him very often, but what you’re describing is not something that I’ve observed during my interactions with him,” Wray stated when questioned by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.).
Describing his interactions with Biden as “uneventful and unremarkable,” Wray’s comments did not sit well with Trump, who originally appointed him as FBI Director in 2017.
Trump fired back on Truth Social, asserting, “I watched the Congressional Hearing today as Christopher Wray was asked the question whether or not he noticed any Cognitive Degeneration in his many conversations with Crooked Joe Biden.”
He continued, “[D]espite the fact that Special Counsel Robert Hur said, effectively, that Joe Biden is INCOMPETENT, with LITTLE MEMORY, etc., Wray said that ‘it is not something I observed during my interactions with him, which were uneventful and unremarkable,’ essentially stating that he found nothing wrong, mentally or physically, with ‘Joe.’”
“If that is the case, Director Wray should resign immediately from the FBI,” Trump insisted.
He argued vehemently that, “anybody can see that Joe Biden is cognitively and physically challenged, and if you can’t see that, you sure as hell can’t be running the FBI.”
“Wray has to resign, and NOW, for LYING TO CONGRESS!” he thundered.
Trump Isn’t Alone
Trump’s sentiments echo those of other Republicans, including Gaetz, who have long accused the Biden administration, and Vice President Kamala Harris, of covering up the president’s decline.
This growing chorus of concern culminated in Biden announcing on Sunday that he was ending his re-election bid, amidst increasing calls for him to step down over his evident decline.
Despite this, President Biden has pledged to complete his term, undeterred by the mounting scrutiny.
He also pledged to continue as the candidate for president, though, so who knows if that is true.
