Trump family has been rushed to the hospital in ambulance

Donald Trump was gearing up for another run at the White House. But he’s been derailed.

And now the Trump family has been rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

Ivanka Trump, the former first daughter, revealed this weekend that she received a call last week that “every parent dreads”: her kid had been injured and was en route to the hospital in an ambulance.

Trump wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday, “This week I received a call from the school nurse that every parent dreads.” “Theo, my 6-year-old son, broke his wrist playing soccer.”

It became kind of a “race” to see how quickly she and her husband Jared Kushner, who were traveling separately, could get to their kid because Trump was at the time not close to the hospital.

“Since I was over an hour’s drive away, an ambulance took Theo, accompanied by the school nurse, to the closest hospital,” she wrote on her Instagram account. “Jared and I raced to meet him, Jared arriving at the same time as the ambulance and me getting there a few minutes later.

Unsurprisingly, Trump was appreciative of the treatment her son received for what she described as “a bad break.”

She remarked, “It was a bad break, but the competent EMT, doctors, nurses, and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital staff took good care of Theo.”

Meanwhile, her kid handled the predicament in a way that only a 6-year-old could.

“Theo’s visit culminated with two ice pops, which led to him declaring ‘This is the best day ever!’,” she added. “The nurse turned to me and said, ‘This is why I’m in pediatrics! No adult in the emergency room has ever said something like that when given an ice pop.’”

Trump and her husband, on the other hand, seized the chance to turn what might have been a very horrible day into an opportunity to assist others.

“Jared and I are so grateful to the doctors, nurses, EMTs, and hospital staff who cared for our son,” she added to her Instagram post. “With gratitude in our hearts, we have made a donation to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. ”

She also included a hyperlink pointing to this hospital’s Instagram page.

The hospital’s website states that it sees about 65,000 patients a year in its emergency room, admits more than 8,600 patients each year, and performs almost that many surgeries.

According to the website, the institution treats “minor illnesses, trauma-related accidents, and some of the most complex medical conditions” with “a comprehensive scope of healthcare services and programs in a child-friendly atmosphere.”

Donations help the organization’s initiatives in research and education, new technologies, and initiatives that let patients’ families be near their loved ones throughout treatment.

Hopefully Theo makes a quick recovery as soon as possible and he can enjoy his youth without too many complications from his arm break.

Ivanka and Jared Trump making this donation is another example of why Americans have largely grown fond of the Trump family in the past 10 years.

The Left wants to criticize the Trumps as “hateful” and “bigoted,” but the simple truth is that they want the best for everyone.

So good on them for highlighting this hospital who took care of their son.
