The FBI’s scandals have been on full display lately. But there’s one they want kept under wraps.
And now a lawyer’s slapped the FBI with a motion that has Joe Biden worried sick.
According to government officials, the FBI has admitted to having “at least” 40 undercover agents participating at the January 6 Capitol Hill riots and protests.
A lawyer defending an individual being prosecuted with felony charges due to the January 6 riots, Roger Roots, has now filed a motion for the FBI to reveal all information they have about undercover agents on that day.
In the motion that Roots filed, there were multiple undercover officers at the Capitol and around 40 agents and informants who were instigating for trouble on January 6.
“Some of these undercover Metro officers marched with the Proud Boy march, and some appear to have played roles of instigators, in that they are seen on body-worn videos chanting ‘Go! Go!,’ ‘Stop the Steal!,’ and ‘Whose house? Our house!’ on January 6. Others generally followed demonstrators toward the Capitol,” Roots argued.
This week, the federal government admitted that the FBI had eight undercover agents that were placed among the January 6 crowd.
The lawyer Roots says that the Homeland Security Investigations had nearly 20 informants among the crowd and that the DC Metro police had more than 13 police officers that were in plain clothes.
“When added to the 8 FBI CHSs now acknowledged by the prosecutors, this means that there were at least 40 undercover informants or agents doing surveillance among defendants on January 6,” Roots said.
Roots added that had he known that the extent to which the government had been using undercover schemes to allegedly “instigate” the situation, he would’ve been much more aggressive in his defense of his client.
House Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tweeted this information saying that the FBI is supposed to be stopping people from breaking the law, not helping them.
She also said that Congress should defund the FBI to stop the weaponization of the government from going any further than it has.

All of this comes as the American public recently got access to new, previously unseen footage of the January 6 riots thanks to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy providing Tucker Carlson with new footage.
The footage showed that there were Capitol police literally escorting the rioters throughout the Capitol and generally doing nothing to prevent much of anything.

Ultimately, the narrative that the Democrats want to peddle that there was some elaborate plan on the part of Donald Trump and his supporters to prevent Joe Biden from becoming President is not the case.
And we’re learning every day that the government had more of a hand in the events of January 6 that Americans ever knew before.
