Congressman Schiff’s claim to fame is lying about Donald Trump. Now his whole world is crashing down.
And Adam Schiff just got smacked with the worst news of his life.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) labeled Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) a “criminal” as she sought a $16 million fine against him.
“He’s a criminal. What he did was wrong. And, Adam Schiff, you will be held accountable,” Luna told Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures.
Luna argued Schiff misled to the American people when he claimed he discovered “more than circumstantial evidence” that former President Donald Trump’s team conspired with Russia to win the election.
The report by special counsel John Durham, released last month, concluded that “neither U.S. law enforcement nor the intelligence community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” which looked into alleged Russian election meddling.
Following the publication of that report last month, Luna submitted a privileged resolution to reprimand Schiff and punish him $16 million for his comments.
During Trump’s final two years in power, Schiff, who chaired the House Intelligence Committee, openly stated that there was “ample evidence of collusion in plain sight.”

He lies even though he actively examined the problem in his capacity as panel chair.
“We are going to fine that man $16 million for using his position to lie to the American people and ultimately push something that not only destroyed our country, ripped us apart, but also too was responsible for almost, I believe, maybe even potentially permanently damaging foreign relations,” Luna added.
Back in 2017, Schiff read excerpts from the contentious Steele dossier into the Congressional Record.
That dossier contains a slew of unverified allegations about Trump’s ties to Russia.
Luna stated that Schiff’s “egregious lie” cost taxpayers “over $32 million,” alluding to the legal fees associated with the investigation into potential Russian ties to Trump’s 2016 campaign.
Schiff, who is running for California Senate in a contentious primary, earlier dismissed her motion and stated that he is not backing down.
“MAGA extremists just filed a motion to censure and fine me $16 million because I stood up to Donald Trump and his allies. They’re 8 days away from defaulting on our debt, but Speaker McCarthy and his MAGA allies would rather try to silence me. But I’m not backing down. Ever,” he tweeted.

Schiff was an investigator in Trump’s first impeachment and a manager in Trump’s second.
With that power came responsibility – and Schiff showed he has no remorse for his lies to the American public.
