It’s no secret that the Biden family has made some shady deals with the Chinese. But it runs deeper than anyone ever thought.
And now the Senate says Joe Biden is compromised by China.
The Biden family’s business deals with foreign governments and businesses have always raised eyebrows.
Joe Biden has been caught on tape using his political influence to coerce Ukraine into dropping an investigation into his son, Hunter.
And Hunter Biden has been known to cavort with his Chinese business partners at Joe Biden’s Wilimington home – the same home where classified documents were discovered.
But after Joe Biden’s soft response to the Chinese spy balloon he allowed to traverse the continental United States, some in the GOP are wondering if Biden isn’t just friendly…what if he’s compromised.
Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott accused President Biden of constantly “pacifying” China and said the commander-in-chief may be “compromised” in some way by the Communist country on Sunday.
Scott told John Catsimatidis on his WABC 770 AM radio show that no American company should be doing business in China or Russia, saying the US must “focus on what’s good for America, what’s good for Americans, what’s good for our children, our grandchildren.
“All that Biden does is pacify China. I mean, I don’t know why he does it. I don’t know if he’s compromised. I don’t know what it is. But this is a guy that won’t stand up to dictators around the world,” Scott said.
For months, the president has had to dodge inquiries about his involvement with first son Hunter Biden’s business transactions in Ukraine and China, which were originally exposed by The Washington Post in October and November 2020.
Scott reaffirmed remarks he made on Twitter last week in reaction to a poll showing that Americans are now more concerned about China’s global dominance than Russia’s, and that 58% disapprove of Biden’s handling of relations with Beijing.
“Communist China has chosen to be our enemy. The CCP wants to destroy our way of life, and @JoeBiden shows nothing but weak appeasement,” Scott posted on Twitter, linking to The Associated Press survey.
“The American people deserve a leader in Washington who stands up to evil regimes and puts America first,” he added.
The Biden family had two links with enterprises connected to the Chinese government.
According to public documents, Hunter Biden still owns a 10% share in China state-backed BHR Partners, which claims to handle $2.1 billion in assets.
The troubled first son co-founded BHR Partners in 2013, shortly after accompanying his father, then the vice president in the Obama administration, on an official trip to Beijing on Air Force Two.
In 2021, Hunter Biden’s lawyer stated that the president’s son’s share in BHR had been unloaded.
The chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), has focused the panel’s attention on the Biden family’s interests in China.
For his part, Joe Biden reacted angrily earlier this month when reporters asked if his family’s ties to China compromised him, saying, “Give me a break.”
When asked whether his son still owns a company with “Chinese government entities” by a reporter from The Washington Post, Biden waved his hand.
“You can come to my office and ask a question when you have more polite people with you,” he responded.
