Congress discovers an October surprise bombshell about Harris-Walz

The Harris campaign is on its heels. They’re reeling trying to cover this up.

Because Congress has discovered an October surprise bombshell about Harris-Walz.

House Republicans Probe Minnesota Governor Walz’s Ties to China Amid Whistleblower Allegations

House Republicans are pressing forward in their investigation into Minnesota governor Tim Walz’s ties to China. This move comes after a whistleblower disclosed the existence of key documents, spurring the House Oversight Committee to demand records from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). These documents, according to the whistleblower, could shed light on Walz’s connections to China and have raised concerns about his role in U.S.-China relations.

Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, James Comer (R., Ky.), issued a subpoena to DHS, requesting intelligence reports regarding Walz’s interactions with China and internal communication records from a Microsoft Teams group chat, identified as “NST NFT Bi-Weekly Sync.” The content of this group chat allegedly contains information pertinent to the Committee’s investigation into Walz’s political engagements with China.

In his letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Comer detailed the committee’s findings: “Specifically, through whistleblower disclosures, the Committee has learned of a non-classified, Microsoft Teams group chat among DHS employees—titled ‘NST NFT Bi-Weekly Sync’—that contains information about Governor Walz that is relevant to the Committee’s investigation. The Committee has also learned that further relevant information regarding Governor Walz has been memorialized in both classified and unclassified documents in the control of DHS.”

The subpoena sets a deadline of October 7 for DHS to provide the requested information. Comer emphasized the importance of these documents in helping the committee assess the extent of Chinese political influence in the U.S., stating, “The information required of DHS by the Committee’s subpoena will inform the Committee’s understanding of how successful the CCP has been in waging political warfare in and against the United States, how effectively federal agencies are addressing the communist regime’s campaign, and what reforms are necessary to counter this threat.”

This inquiry is part of a broader investigation by the oversight panel into the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) attempts to infiltrate U.S. institutions and influence American political figures. The scrutiny of Walz’s ties to China intensified after Vice President Kamala Harris selected him as her running mate in August, raising questions about his long-standing connections to the Chinese government.

Walz’s history with China dates back to his early career as a school teacher and politician. He traveled to China several times, with one trip notably serving as his honeymoon, planned around the fifth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. His academic ties to China continued into his congressional career, including his position as a visiting fellow at Macao Polytechnic University, an institution connected to China’s Belt and Road Initiative. This initiative is seen by many as a strategic tool for China to expand its global influence through economic partnerships.

In Congress, Walz also played a role in securing millions of dollars for research at the Hormel Institute, a U.S. research facility with ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology — the Chinese lab at the center of theories surrounding the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic. As Comer noted, the Wuhan Institute’s collaboration with China’s People’s Liberation Army, especially in public health research, remains a significant concern.

Despite these connections, Walz has consistently promoted a U.S.-China relationship based on cooperation rather than competition. This stance diverges from the views of many foreign policy analysts who express concern over China’s growing geopolitical and economic power. At the same time, Walz has publicly condemned China’s human rights violations, striking a balance between advocacy for engagement and criticism of the Chinese government’s authoritarian actions.

The ongoing investigation may further challenge this balancing act, as the House Oversight Committee seeks to uncover the full extent of Walz’s ties to China and what they could mean for U.S. national security. With allegations of Chinese influence looming large, the subpoenaed documents could offer a clearer picture of the risks involved and the broader implications for both Walz’s political future and U.S.-China relations.

The Concerns About Tim Walz Being Overly Sympathetic To Chinese Communist Party

Ever since Tim Walz was picked as the running mate to Kamala Harris, there have been growing concerns about what has come out concerning his connections to China and the Chinese Communist Party. He’s reportedly visited China dozens and dozens of times and has made comments praising the Chinese communists on multiple occasions.

Between 1989 and 1990, Tim Walz served as a teacher at a Chinese satellite program for Harvard University. He’s claimed that he will “never be treated that well again,” referring to his time spent in China.

Not only that, but Tim Walz even appointed a Chinese man with direct ties to the Chinese Communist Party to a Minnesota state board overseeing Asian-American affairs, a major red flag for those who believe that any and all ties with Chinese communism needs to be cut off for the sake of U.S. national security.
