Democrats don’t tend to love Christianity. But this is beyond the pale.
Because a Democrat Congressman issued an offensive Christmas message that will make you furious.
Swalwell’s Offensive Christmas Post Sparks Outrage
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) faced fierce backlash this week after posting a provocative image on X depicting armed ICE agents and a helicopter descending on the Nativity scene in Bethlehem, with the caption: “May this be the last Christmas we live this nightmare.”
The tasteless imagery, shared during the Twelve Days of Christmas, implied a comparison between the Holy Family and modern illegal immigrants—drawing swift condemnation for distorting Scripture and attacking effective border enforcement under President Trump.
Border Patrol Commander Delivers Sharp Rebuttal
U.S. Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino fired back directly, highlighting Swalwell’s hypocrisy.
“Yes, the last Christmas where un-American pedantic dolts choose illegal aliens over US Citizens,” Bovino posted.
He praised a critic who called out Swalwell’s post as insane, replying: “Well said… Merry Christmas.”
When reminded of Swalwell’s infamous alleged ties to Chinese spy Fang Fang (which he denies), Bovino quipped: “Oh yes, how could I forget to mention that.”
Critics Expose Swalwell’s Biblical Misrepresentation
Conservatives quickly corrected Swalwell’s narrative, pointing out that Mary and Joseph complied with Roman law for a census—not fleeing as illegal migrants.
Conservative activist Robby Starbuck responded: “Eric – Mary and Joseph were legal immigrants complying with the rules of the Roman Empire.”
He added: “Rome ordered a census and Joseph had to be counted because Bethlehem was his city; basically the opposite of illegal immigration. Lying about this is Christophobic.”
Starbuck further noted biblical support for borders, citing Acts: God “marked out … boundaries of their lands.”
Swalwell’s stunt underscores a pattern of prioritizing open borders over American security and respect for faith—while ignoring the historic successes of Trump’s policies in restoring order and protecting citizens.
Fox News Digital sought comment from Swalwell but received no response.
