Donald Trump tears into a former ally with a sharp rebuke

Trump isn’t afraid to go after those he once called a friend. He’s always going to tell it like it is.

And Donald Trump tore into a former ally with a sharp rebuke.

President Donald Trump isn’t holding back after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s disastrous appearance on 60 Minutes, where she tried to paint herself as a true patriot. In a fiery response, Trump made it crystal clear that Greene has abandoned the core principles that made her a rising star in the first place. He’s insisting she’s no longer part of the America First movement or the MAGA revolution.

Greene shocked everyone back in November by announcing she’d quit Congress in January, complaining that everyday folks aren’t seeing any real improvements.

Her decision came amid growing tensions with Trump, who pulled his endorsement and openly cheered her exit as a win for the nation. It’s no secret that the Georgia firebrand has been clashing with the former president, and now the gloves are off.

In her 60 Minutes sit-down, Greene doubled down, declaring herself firmly in the America First camp. But Trump sees right through it, labeling her a phony who’s gone sour. He took to his platform to unleash a blistering takedown, exposing what he views as her betrayal of the values that unite true conservatives.

“The only reason Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!). Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD,” Trump declared, comparing her to a “Rotten Apple.”

Trump didn’t stop there, hammering home that Greene’s shift proves she’s not the real deal. “Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person,” he stated.

He ripped into the entire 60 Minutes episode, pointing out how it showcased Greene’s fumbling performance:

“That was proven last night when washed up, Trump hating, 60 Minutes ‘correspondent,’ Lesley Stahl, who still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show (with serious conviction!), that Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG!), interviewed a very poorly prepared Traitor, who in her confusion made many really stupid statements,” Trump continued.

Trump also slammed the show’s new owners at Paramount. “My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor, it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air. THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, who just paid me millions of Dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite President, ME! Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE! Oh well, far worse things can happen,” he added.

Wrapping up his rant, Trump demanded accountability for past lies. “P.S. I hereby demand a complete and total APOLOGY, though far too late to be meaningful, from Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!!! President DJT,” he concluded.

On the flip side, Greene used her airtime to whine about the fallout from Trump’s criticisms, claiming they’ve sparked dangerous threats. She painted a picture of fear among her fellow Republicans, suggesting they’re all cowering from backlash that could possibly occur.

“I think they’re terrified to step out of line and get a nasty Truth Social post on them, yes,” Greene stated. She even tied direct threats to her family to Trump’s words.

“The subject line for the direct death threats on my son was his words: ‘Marjorie Traitor Greene,’” she revealed.

“Those were death threats directly fueled by President Trump,” Greene charged.

Greene didn’t hold back in firing shots at Trump, questioning his commitment to the America First agenda. She argued that his focus strayed too far from home soil, betraying the promises that energized voters. For a supposed ally, this is a stunning reversal.

“For an ‘America First’ president, the number one focus should have been domestic policy, and it wasn’t. And so, of course, I was critical, because those were my campaign promises,” Greene explained.

“Once we fix everything here, then fine, we’ll talk to the rest of the world,” she added.

This feud exposes the cracks in the Republican ranks as they prepare for the 2026 midterms.
