Jasmine Crockett makes an asinine statement that has Republicans laughing their heads off

Crockett is insane. She’s not very bright either.

And Jasmine Crockett made an asinine statement that has Republicans laughing their heads off.

During an appearance on CNN’s The Lead this past Monday, Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett laid out why she’s the real deal in the upcoming Senate primary, claiming that even “independents and Republicans” are lining up behind her over her rival, State Rep. James Talarico.

Crockett didn’t hold back when host Dana Bash pressed her on her bold, outsider strategy and how it stacks up against Talarico’s flashy moves, like his just-announced 12-day bus tour leading into the March 3rd vote.

Turning the tables, Crockett pointed to her proven track record of beating the odds, reminding everyone how she triumphed in her initial run for the state House despite being massively outgunned financially.

“My very first race for the state House, I was outspent 5 to 1,” Crockett declared.

She exposed what she sees as a deliberate scheme to starve her campaign of cash, with outside influencers actively discouraging donations.

“We do know there was a specific intent to defund our campaign, as we saw podcasters say, ‘Do not send money to Jasmine Crockett.’” she said, calling out the interference.

Crockett tied this sabotage to shadowy figures pulling strings for her opponent, spreading smears far from Texas soil.

“We know the operative that is behind my opponent’s campaign that is specifically been peddling these stories to New York and D.C. That’s why the stories aren’t coming out of Texas, but instead they’re coming from New York and DC, just like the podcasters are coming out of New York and D.C.,” she explained.

“But I have faith in the Texans, right,” she affirmed, betting on local voters to see through the noise.

She stressed that her campaign is zeroing in on a winning mix of supporters, the kind that crosses party lines and delivers victories.

“And the coalition that we specifically attack is the coalition that it’s going to take to win,” Crockett asserted, framing her approach as smart and unstoppable.

Backing up her confidence, she cited fresh data straight from a respected Texas source, showing her pulling ahead where it counts.

“The most recent polling that came out from University of Houston and number one, say that Independents and Republicans prefer me,” she revealed.

“Now they want to say that I can’t win. But the reality is that the numbers don’t suggest that. And no one is putting numbers behind this. All they’re doing is sinking a lot of money into a candidate who has never been tested and never been hit,” she charged.

She didn’t stop there, exposing the heavy artillery being deployed against her from multiple fronts.

“In the final point that I’ll say is, not only does my opponent have a super PAC that is spinning against us with negative ads, but also our governor, he decided to sink over $1 million into TV ads against me, our governor,” Crockett said, spotlighting the big-money assault.

This revelation raises eyebrows—why would the Republican governor dump a fortune to torpedo her if she’s supposedly the weaker foe?
