Leaked private messages out this Congressman for a truly sickening act

Much of what goes on in Washington, D.C. is hidden from view. But sometimes the curtain opens, and we sneak a peak.

And now leaked private messages out this Congressman for a truly sickening act.

The Democrat Party has built their entire existence off of identity politics.

It isn’t about having good ideas, solutions to real problems, or even a love for this country.

It’s all about being part of a victim group or identifying with one when it’s convenient, whether you care about them or not.

And now one Congressman stepped in it big time after his private messages leaked.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman is receiving fire in his Westchester, New York district after a text exchange in which he asked a rabbi to share images of them together to demonstrate his Jewish contacts.

According to a report by Jewish Insider, the New York Democratic congressman asked the unidentified Jewish leader during Mr. Bowman’s 2022 reelection campaign, “Do you have pics of us? So I can show the world I’m friends with Jewish People.”

“I was uncomfortable,” the rabbi admitted of the request, adding that he “kind of joked around with him about it.”

“I don’t want to be his court Jew,” he told the Jewish Insider. “That wasn’t what I signed up for.”

Justin Brasch, a Jewish Democrat who serves on the White Plains City Council, told the outlet that Mr. Bowman “is not someone who wants to build bridges with Jews and the Jewish community. … He doesn’t reach out. He doesn’t reach back. He’s not interested at all in the Jewish community.”

The Washington Times contacted Mr. Bowman’s campaign for comment, but received no response.

Mr. Bowman is seeking a third term despite low poll numbers and a financial deficit over his primary opponent, Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

Recent surveys show the congressman losing to Mr. Latimer by 17 points.

The June 25 primary is anticipated to determine the type of Democratic congressman that voters in the district, which includes sections of the north Bronx and southern Westchester County, want to send to Washington following the Nov. 5 general election.

Mr. Bowman, a member of the liberal Squad, has come under criticism in recent months from many pro-Israel organizations that have sponsored Mr. Latimer and criticized the congressman’s pro-Palestinian views.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee and its super PAC have spent more than $14 million on television advertising criticizing Mr. Bowman.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bowman has accused Mr. Latimer of being the “number one recipient of AIPAC money in the country,” claiming that “AIPAC is funded by right-wing Republicans who want to destroy our democracy.”

Mr. Bowman and Mr. Latimer squared off in a final debate Tuesday, with the congressman railing against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned speech to Congress on July 24.

“It sends the wrong message and it’s not what we should be doing at this time,” Mr. Bowman said.

Mr. Latimer stated that if he were in Congress, he would attend the speech.

He did say he disagreed with the Israeli leader’s recent criticism of President Biden.
