Photo of Chuck Schumer catches him in the middle of this disgusting act

Schumer has been in Washington, D.C. for decades. But it could all come crashing down.

Now a photo of Chuck Schumer catches him in the middle of this disgusting act.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is once again cozying up to a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official — one who has outright denied China’s brutal repression of the Uyghur population. Schumer has been repeatedly photographed this month sharing a stage with Chinese Consul General in New York Chen Li, a known mouthpiece for Beijing’s propaganda.

Chen has proudly flaunted his close ties to Schumer, posting multiple photos of them together on his X profile. These include appearances at at least two Chinese parades in New York.

“Thrilled to join thousands at the [Brooklyn] Lantern Festival Parade!” Chen recently posted, standing beside Schumer at the event.

“Incredible #Chinese cultural performances—so proud of Chinese Community in New York! It’s time for celebration and friendship!” he added.

Chen was also front and center at the NYC Lunar New Year Parade, where he boasted about joining American “friends” and Chinese “fellow-countrymen.”

But let’s not forget who Chen really is — an agent of a regime that has been condemned on the world stage, including by the United Nations, for its horrific treatment of Uyghurs. Yet Chen has shamelessly dismissed these atrocities.

“It’s hard to imagine how could ‘genocide’ and ‘forced labor’ [be] associated with such a place where population grows steadily, society is safe and open, and people enjoy happy life. Where do the accusations come from?” Chen wrote in 2021.

He then pushed a blatant CCP lie, claiming that allegations of genocide were simply a fabrication by “extremist anti-China individuals” and “so-called witnesses who were proved to be trained ‘actors’ and ‘actresses.’”

Of course, the CCP insists that its so-called “re-education camps” are harmless and voluntary, but leaked documents and firsthand accounts tell a very different story. These camps are anything but voluntary, as Fox News Digital has previously reported.

Despite all this, Schumer continues to stand side by side with Beijing’s operatives. Experts warn that such public fraternizing with CCP officials plays right into China’s hands.

“The Chinese Communist Party is actively seeking to weaken America from within. Elected officials shouldn’t share the stage with them; they should be working to defeat Beijing,” said Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Michael Sobolik.

“It sends mixed signals when politicians talk about countering the CCP one day then break bread with them the next,” he added.

This isn’t the first time Schumer has been caught cozying up to CCP figures. He was previously criticized for his ties to Chen’s predecessor, Huang Ping, another staunch defender of Beijing’s abuses. Huang, who spent years spreading CCP propaganda, was repeatedly hosted by Democrat officials and corporate elites.

Huang’s activities came under scrutiny when he was named in a criminal indictment against Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s now-former deputy chief of staff, Linda Sun. The indictment revealed just how deeply embedded CCP influence has become within Democrat circles.

During his tenure as consul general, Huang called the CCP a “great party” while working to expand Beijing’s influence across the East Coast. Court documents identified him as “PRC Official-1” and linked him directly to Hochul, referred to as “Politician-2” in the 64-page indictment against Sun.

“The Chinese Communist Party’s malign influence in the United States is pervasive and perverse,” Sobolik warned last year.

“The CCP, through ‘united front’ actors, uses American voices to advance its own hostile agenda. Governments at every level, from local and state to federal, must root out Beijing’s ongoing efforts to exploit our openness and freedom.”

Yet despite all these warnings, Democrat leaders like Schumer continue to play right into Beijing’s hands. Instead of standing up to the CCP, they’re rolling out the red carpet.
