Democrats thought keeping Fetterman in office after having a stroke would be easy. With his poor health, he would just be a rubber stamp for their agenda.
But Senator John Fetterman betrayed the Democrat Party with this stunning confession.
Everyone remembers the story.
Back in 2022, the midterm elections were more closely watched than any in recent memory.
And one of the biggest races that were watched was the Senate race in Pennsylvania.
Admittedly, it was a terrible match-up that should have never happened.
John Fetterman, a former mayor and trust-fund Democrat, tried to pretend to be one of the common people.
Mehmet Oz, his Republican challenger, was a gimmicky TV personality who was out of touch from the people too.
But after Fetterman suffered a debilitating stroke, many thought Oz would mop the floor with him.
Instead, Fetterman pulled out a victory, leaving many conservatives to think he’d live out his term doing whatever the DNC and his staff told him to do.
Unfortunately for the Left, Fetterman is flipping the script.
On Saturday, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) took a shot at California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, as intra-party tensions over the 2024 presidential election escalated.
During remarks at an Iowa event, Fetterman chastised Newsom for pursuing a shadow campaign for the White House while publicly stating his support for President Joe Biden’s bid for a second term with Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate.
According to NBC News, “there are two additional Democrats running for… president right now.”
“One is a congressman from Minnesota, the other one is the governor of California, but only one has the guts to announce it.”
Fetterman also mentioned Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), who announced a primary challenge to Biden last month while calling for a “new generation of American leaders.”
Newsom insists he is deferring to Biden’s re-election bid, but his trips to Israel and China, as well as his agreement to debate Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, who is competing for the GOP presidential nomination, have fueled suspicion about his political ambitions.
The California governor recently joked that he wished he were president so he could better handle foreign issues.
Some of Biden’s fans and others have urged him to reconsider running due to poor approval ratings, bad polling in a potential rematch with former President Donald Trump, and worries about his health to serve as commander-in-chief at the age of 80.
In September, Newsom told NBC that Democrats “need to move past” their concerns about Biden and screamed, “of course not,” when asked if he could see himself running against Harris.
Senator John Fetterman became the focal point of the battle over the Senate’s short-lived relaxation of the dress code, as he frequently skirted the rules with his predilection for casual clothes.
Fetterman has also criticized fellow Democrats, urging the Senate to expel Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who is facing criminal charges for alleged illicit ties to Egypt.
