We knew the Left didn’t have any great love for Republicans. But now they’re attacking them in their homes.
And a SWAT team raided this GOP representative’s house for one shocking reason.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) reported on Monday that she was swatted at her home on Christmas, which she claimed was the eighth time it had happened to her.
According to the New York Post, the event occurred when someone called a suicide hotline and stated that he had shot his fiancée and was threatening to commit suicide.
“I was just swatted,” Greene admitted on X.
“This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here.”
“My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this,” she went on to say.
“I appreciate them so much and my family and I are in joyous spirits celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!”
In a statement, a representative for the Rome Police Department in Georgia confirmed the occurrence, noting that “this is not the first incident.”
“As we were preparing to respond, we reached out to her security detail and it was determined that there wasn’t any emergency and that she was safe,” said Kelly Madden, a public information officer for the department.
“Our response was actually canceled en route.”
“Swatting” refers to a sinister harassment tactic where someone reports a fake emergency to law enforcement, usually something involving violence, with the hopes that law enforcement responds to the incident with a SWAT team.
People have been killed as a result of swat events.
In a separate incident Monday, Republican Rep. Brandon Williams of New York tweeted that his home was swatted, and said state and local police “left with homemade cookies and spiced nuts!”

New York State Police said Tuesday that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the incident.
Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck said that law enforcement responded Monday afternoon after receiving a “false” report from an unknown caller about a shooting at Williams’ address and that the sheriff’s office was working with U.S. Capitol Police to determine the origins of the call.
Remember, Americans whose only crime was walking around the Capitol for a few minutes on January 6th are receiving double digit jail sentences.
But liberals who send SWAT teams to elected officials homes will likely never be brought to justice.
